Genuinely feel bad for this dude. Should have switched to WR in 2020… sounds like he wasn’t exactly a team first guy. Can’t imagine the reality hangover that is hitting him right now - the dream is over. The detractors will not be conquered. Revenge will not be had. Has to move on with his life. Good luck to him, hope he finds something positive to pursue.

Back when I had the ins with certain people who covered ND & who spoke to Phil & his family, I heard all the wild shit the family & Phil were alleging BK & ND were doing. It was so ridiculous, and the persons telling me believed them & still blame BK for it.
I got in an argument with them about it and they flat out told me everyone else was wrong & they were right. This started the downward spiral of that relationship. LOL
I bet they are still spinning it…

I racked my tiny brain & can not think of a single player, in any sport, I was such a huge supporter of to hating more than any other player.
I followed him so closely back in 2016 when ND was a trainwreck & Urban Meyer was trying HARD to flip him to OSU, & Phil said as long as the Golden Dome hadn’t fallen he was going to ND.
Then when a national Rivals guy said Phil wasn’t that good I went at him & defender Phil so much, a buddy of mine who worked at Rivals at the time messaged me & asked me to back off the national guy.
Then I started hearing the stories (lies) him & his parents were telling the media, I started not liking him.
After Phil did that initial interview with the Post Gazette, when he first left, and just bashed ND as a whole, I started hating him. Then all the other crap he pulled the past two years, including the cultural crap, put him #1 most despised.

And I’m not calling him a “kid” either like some will defending him.
Dude is 23 years old. That’s a man. People enlist, do a full service commitment & discharge before 23.
He is an immature adult, who is an asshole.
If you worked with him in your office (which 23 year old men do), you would say, “that guy is an asshole.”
