I don't even bother using it for ND games if I can get them on my antenna. There's less lag with an antenna.
The wife got Peacock for her Bravo shows. I typically only use it to watch some old school WWE PPVs.

Only time I’ve used it is for the Premier League.

Honestly will be sad to see it go under. It's a nice changeup from the other streaming options, imo, and the presentation/navigation has improved for the most part.

They also have pretty solid options in terms of new movies streaming, as well.

Most importantly, though.... my antenna doesn't pick up NBC in the man cave, so I need Peacock for ND games. I'm not running a cable up from the basement to my roof if I don't absolutely have to lol.

For antenna users like us check out these products. You connect your antenna to the device and then connect it via Ethernet to your router or home network. You can then use your single antenna for your whole house and watch on any smart tv. I've been using them for years and they work.

It's a great deal for that. For whatever reason, my kids all ended up big soccer fans and I'm happy as hell that I can get that for $5/month instead of being forced into an $80/month live streaming bundle just for the one thing.

I’ve never had Peacock or eve looked into it. If the only game I miss is Central Michigan on TV I’m close enough to get a $50 ticket.

Agreed. I haven’t really dug into their catalog but for the PL alone, absolutely worth it.

What a load of crap! Michigan gets a game with Tirico and Simms against East Carolina.
B1G also gets Kyle Rudolph as an analyst for games.
Our broadcast team is the same as last year.
Yeah kind of a slap in the face... Big Ten gets the long-time professional crew. ND gets the apprentice crew

I hate to say it but Jac Collinsworth is brutal on the call. Garrett isn't good either but a good play-by-play guy can make a dull color commentator much better.

I really don't mind Garrett. I guess most of the time unless it's tracendent (like Romo at his best), I really just don't listen too much to color commentary. Garrett seemed to be fairly knowledgeable, hit on obvious things, and was quick to get excited when ND was doing well. That's really all I need tbh.

Jac is pretty bad though. He's an ND guy, but it's obvious he's been thrown into prime time before he's ready. It doesn't help that he's following Mike Tirico, who is maybe one of the top 5 play by play people working right now. I can't think who I would rather have over him other than Harlen, Johnson, or Mike Breen.

Totally unrelated to ND, but speaking of play by play guys... I turned on the Red Sox - Giants radio broadcast on the MLB app the other day. It was the Sox broadcast but when I turned it on I teleported back to a July Sunday night circa 1995. Jon Miller was doing a guest inning on the Sox station. I then realized he does Giants games and now I just want to listen to Giants games every day for the nostalgia hit. Him and Joe Morgan were like a summer soundtrack for me.

I just want someone that will fricking tell me who has the ball and who made the tackle, who caused the penalty, and who blew the play. I cant stand when they go off on tangents that have nothing to do with what is happening on the field at the time. Just give me the play by play and screw all the rest of the talk.

I couldn't agree more, I think Peacock is vastly underrated, though I agree with others that their live streaming isn't great. I got booted twice against UNLV last year (I have strong internet and the TV I was watching from was literally next to the modum) and just lags, in general. More times than not, I'm getting a notification from one of my sports apps that ND scored, so I have to mute them. I don't have that problem at all with cable.

But their collection of shows and movies is top notch. Sitcoms alone: The Office (with superfan extended episodes - HIGHLY recommend - Parks and Rec, and Superstore a few of my favorites of all time, all on Peacock.

Yes. Football is not like baseball where there is a lot of time to fill with stories and anecdotes.

I could care less if whoever is in the booth played football at ND. I just want whoever it is to be good. Yes, the QB from an ND rival school has been annoying, but at the end just get someone in there who doesn't make me mute my sound.

I still remember that anecdote Jason Garrett gave during the BYU game that went on for MINUTES about meeting Jayson Ade at a high school.
