If we're going old school, Grace Kelly in To Catch A Thief is one of the finest women ever.
One night during college, a neighbor dropped by and invited me to a poker game at his apartment. We went to the store to grab chips & drinks and on the way back I realized I'd left my jar of change at my place, so we stopped by to grab it. I don't remember why now, but my friend walked upstairs with me to do so. My roommate had forgotten to lock the door and when my friend & I walked in, there was my roommate with his pants & underwear down to his ankles, watching To Catch A Thief, and "enjoying the pleasure of his own company." He was embarrassed and quickly turned away from us and pulled his shirt over himself and mumbled, "Grace Kelly always does it for me."

I watched both versions of "The Killers" over the weekend. Both Ava Gardner and Angie Dickinson are a little bit of all right as bad, bad girls. I'll withhold full on reviews of each movie unless this thread goes off the rails again and needs to be disciplined.

Posted this in the Politics forum, but this guy was one of 7,000 investors, and it sounds like there's more to the story. Marta was just a landlord, he wasn't directly involved in the kidnapping. If I had to guess it sounds like the man that took the girls is the father with the mother having full custody, but that's just speculation since the mother knew who had the girls. Not saying this is right, but that's awful clickbaity.

Thank you for coming to the aid of Toronto, typical. At least you are honest with yourself. Although you miss when you claim the falsehoods of heaven and hell and call it superstitious, but then cite that something is evil. The origin of the word evil comes straight out of the book of Christianity.
What is this bull shit. The word evil comes from old English before the Roman’s ever made it there and therefore before Christianity. To take it back even further the “concept” of evil can be dated back to the earliest religions predating Christianity by thousands of years.

What’s bullshit is arguing etymology from a post 3 weeks ago. Who really cares. You win, take your prize. For fuck sake!!

I’d like to chime in and add that “bull shit” is actually a compound word. That’s straight out of the book of diction. 😂

Finally watched The Changeling with George C Scott,… meant to for almost twenty years but finally did. You can tell its premise had been reused a dozen times since but it was really well done. I enjoyed it

Don’t feel bad, I just watched Basic Instinct for the first time about 2 weeks ago.

The new TMNT. It was OK

Took my son to see it for his bday today. I thought it was pretty good.

Obviously ripping off of “Into the Spider-Verse” with the art style and soundtrack… but that’s not a bad thing at all, as long as your story backs it up, which I thought it did for the most part.

Honestly surprised it hadn’t gotten more hype before release, considering the voice cast. Pretty good collection of Seth Rogen’s friends lol

I'll admit I came in with real high expectations. The kiddo loved it which was the point.
