She's only been on the job a short time. She wasn't replaced because of declining sales.
Bud Lite was the top selling beer of 2022. Her claim that she was trying to turn the brand around and "reinvent" it to appeal to a different market to save it is utter nonsense. At most, you tweak your ad campaign to attract additional drinkers. You don't overhaul it and risk crashing the sailboat that's leading the race onto the rocks. She was lying about her mandate to "save" the brand. It didn't need saving. It was #1 in sales. She just wanted to show the other cool kids how woke she was and "change the world." Nice job. Crashed the most successful (yet flippin' awful) beer on the market and probably tanked your career.

This lady is spot on.

This is a much better message than for people to be told they are oppressed. I fully realize that the playing field of life is not the same for every person in this country but pushing the message that anyone can overcome the adversity that comes their way is much more constructive than being a victim of circumstance.

What makes you qualified to claim that transgenders are mentally ill? Because the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association disagree with you.

I'm not saying they're all mentally ill, but a strong percentage of them are. Trans-gendered people are four times more likely than cis-gendered people to have mental health conditions. In a survey 40% of trans-gendered individuals said they've attempted suicide, which is 9 times the control rate.

As far as the two Associations I'm sure trans allies and pressure have sought to squelch the notion that their community suffers from mental illness, much in the way that 25 years ago Autogynephilia, or AGP, was once understood to be the driving force in male-to-female transsexual cases. It's a psychological disorder, and groups like WPATH had it removed from their standards of care in 2001 for a more fairy tale "born this way" ideology to avoid offending allies. Again, this wouldn't be the first time American doctors have caved to pressure. Circumcision was once strongly advised in the interest of hygiene and protection from STDs, but "child consent" bullies have pressured them to change their opinion to a more neutral stance.

I had just read this similar article a few days ago about AGP and it being the driving force behind most transgender issues. The article you posted goes into more detail and is excellent.

Let's get real here about Dylan Mulvaney. Watch the videos below and then tell me this dude really thinks he's a woman. I've know a few women in my life. I have a mom, a sister, a wife, 5 daughters, went to school with a few thousand, worked with several hundred, and dated several dozen. Not one... NOT A SINGLE ONE ever acted anything like this. This isn't what any woman acts like. He's not a woman. He doesn't actually think he's a woman. He's just a very effeminate flamboyant sissy looking for attention.

Maybe it’s because Bud Light tastes awful? Or they just didn’t understand how bigoted their customer base was? They haven’t been the only beer brand to appeal to the LGBTQ cause.
Agreed about Bud Light tasting awful. I’m not a beer snob. Give me cold, domestic & Light but Bud Light always stood apart as tasting worse than the others to me.

As far as their customer base being bigots…that’s a pretty broad generalization. It’s a huge selling beer so I’m sure there’s plenty of Biden voters who believe women can have dicks & vice versa.

If someone stops drinking a brand of beer, especially if it’s something they’ve always drank, because the brand advertised support for the LGBTQ community, then they’re probably a bigot.

All the big beer companies do little marketing things for the gay community. So I wouldn't frame this as "support for the LGBTQ community." People might roll their eyes at rainbow colored marketing material, but they don't really care. It's probably about time to cut the T from LGBTQ. Maybe cut the Q too, who knows, Idk what the Q even means. This was a special can catering towards a specific individual who gets his rocks off pretending he's a prepubescent girl. Not exactly the sorta thing that men (the target demo) are going to be supportive of.

The other thing worth considering is the fact that all the domestic macrobeer is very similar. This isn't coca cola. Miller/Bud/Coors are all basically the same beer. Its not uncommon for a Coke person to choose water instead of Pepsi. That sort of preference doesn't apply to light beer. The lady who thought up this idea should probably consider a career change. She sucks at marketing beer. I think I read that sales are down like 15-20% now. You have to try to be that bad at selling beer.

I stand by my statement.

Also, all light beers do not taste the same, especially the three you named. I would definitely choose water over Bud Light.

I dont think I've ever bought a case of bud light. But if it's what is available, I've drank it. I'm a Miller Lite man myself.

Lazy wording on my part. Not the same taste, but I think you get the sentiment.

Right, but you say that like 100% of Bud Light drinkers stopped drinking a brand of beer they’ve always drank. But unless you have some evidence that you haven’t shared, you don’t know that do you? In fact, we can assume there’s still plenty of people drinking Bud Light today regardless of their views so calling an entire swath of people an incendiary term despite you not having any evidence of your claim is just as bigoted…probably.

This response reads like a middle school debate team. A very poor one.

She’s already been put on leave and they named a replacement. She won’t be back and she might consider enrolling in the Don Draper basic marketing seminar.

One of the first rules of marketing your product is……know your target audience. To say that wasn’t followed very well is an understatement.

of course this person is looking for attention. It’s working. In America, singing about women with bulges gets you a chance to meet the President.

k. So you don’t have receipts showing that every Bud Light drinker is a bigot. Thanks.
Again, the lies to frame context.

He didn't say every bud light drinker is a bigot. He said....

You can comprehend the difference right?

I'll gladly be called a bigot if it means I dont support a dude pretending to be an 8 year old girl.

I'm beginning to think you might be right. He's getting rich off this. He's probably smart enough to know his 15 minutes of fame isn't going to last, so he might as well pump it until the well runs dry.
