The “pat down” as part of the intro the game was ridiculous last night. F the SEC.
Aggies are the only home crowd left to taunt the man ruthlessly for an hour and a half. I hope they go wild. The “pat down” as part of the intro the game was ridiculous last night. F the SEC.
theyve been doing it all year apparentlyThe “pat down” as part of the intro the game was ridiculous last night. F the SEC.
That's what I've been hearing. Seems like a good time to stop though.theyve been doing it all year apparently
Oooof. Nice job, Nick.
There’s no way that the basketball murder and resulting trail of errors by Oats didn’t feed that message. It was too spot on.I doubt that Saban is worried about BB. To me it was more of reminding Oats who is the top dog and that he needs to hold his players accountable.
It was a pretty hard jab regardless. I'm glad he did it.I doubt that Saban is worried about BB. To me it was more of reminding Oats who is the top dog and that he needs to hold his players accountable.
I can't imagine anyone would tolerate it.If Mitchell had just had some pot for personal use, he gets suspended for awhile and that's it. Half a pound, a scale, $7000, and fleeing at over 140 is a deal breaker by a mile or two. He can safely pack his bags and head home. I can't imagine any way Saban tolerates that.

I really hope Alabama doesn't win the tournament but it's certainly looking like they're lined up to do it. Such is life.
It definitely fed the message. My point was you screwed up and need to do better, but he's not worried about the BB team winning a title. There’s no way that the basketball murder and resulting trail of errors by Oats didn’t feed that message. It was too spot on.
It's serious speed even for the SEC! lol![]()
Suspended Alabama DB Tony Mitchell drove 141 mph before arrest
Suspended Alabama defensive back Tony Mitchell was driving 141 mph as he attempted to flee police in Florida last week before being arrested.www.espn.com
141 MPH is some serious SEC speed
Agreed, he is not.It definitely fed the message. My point was you screwed up and need to do better, but he's not worried about the BB team winning a title.
Right. Just because the basketball players got away with it doesn't mean you football players are going to get away with it. Don't be trying that stuff on Nick Saban's watch. It won't end the same.Agreed, he is not.
Saban is a lot of things, and one of those is most likely someone who feels like this situation with the basketball team has been handled incredibly poorly. The difference for him is that it has an indirect association with him and hits closer to home than he probably wants. That being said, I think this was directed as much if not MORE to his own players than it was to Nate Oats. It was clearly directed to both but I think he's sending a message to his football players more than anything.
I think he's concerned about the attention this brings to the athletic department that his football program brings the bacon home to. Nobody thinks hoops when they think of Alabama Crimson Tide sports. So he doesn't really give a shit about the basketball team, he gives a shit about the optics it lends to the brand and logo that he shares with it. Basketball success is probably a lukewarm result as it relates to the football program.
A loose maybe. This seems like the author of the article is really leaning toward information coming from the defense attorney.Maybe more to the story than what the national media narrative has been thus far.

Video Evidence Provides Most Compelling Account Yet Of Alabama Basketball Murder Case
The evidence raises questions about the prosecution's case, while also shedding light on why superstar Brandon Miller has not been charged.patch.com
It's not. 3 of the four aren't even from Georgia. You're luring 3 kids from other schools honey holes (CA, TX, and FL)This doesn't seem...fair.
Tells me that someone is decommitting.
Or they're going to have a Dime pass cover package that's going to be ridiculous.Tells me that someone is decommitting.
