I have worked for four large multinationals over the course of 30 years whos names are on TV most days. I know of co workers having sex at every one of them. So, no, I don’t see a problem, if everyone is of legal age and consenting.

LSU employees? These are pro football teams now. corporations. You’re still thinking these are schools, but they aren’t.
I have too…and still do…and I’ve seen entire sales teams get fired for far much less. In 2023, all these MFers are getting fired.

Again, if everyone is of legal age and consenting to the activity, no.
The thing is... not sure you can really give consent to getting a train run on you when the fellas running said train have influence on whether you have a job tomorrow.

This is why you don't shit where you eat. Its messy and these folks are likely all losing their jobs

LSU is blowing out Purdue.

So BK will get to 10 wins in the last 6 straight seasons, which even includes the shorter 2020 season & not having a CCG available in 4 of the 6 seasons. And all are P5 seasons, & no FCS opponents in 5 of the 6 seasons.

How many coaches are on that list?
How many coaches have won at least 10 games the last 6 seasons?

Saban
Dabo
BK

Anyone else? Has Riley?

That this has to be explained to adults in 2023 is pretty amazing.

Who has said he’s a bad coach? He’s a Hall-of-Famer. But he also wasn’t taking ND any further than he got them which there is no shame seeing as he took them to 2 CFP, 1 NC game, 2 undefeated regular seasons & is the all-time winningest HC. What case can any fan make that BK could win a natty at ND now w/ NIL, portal, etc?

I’ll always be appreciative for what BK did at ND but it was time for a change for both the program & BK.

I didn’t say anyone did.
It was just a curious question?

From 2010-2016 Brian Kelly had 2 10 win seasons, including 4-8 against an absolutely horrible schedule in 2016. Sure 2017-2022 was fun and they won 10 games a year, but besides 2020 versus Clemson what big games did they win? 2017 at Miami they got smoked. 2018 semi final game they got crushed, at Michigan and 2019 they got whooped. Last two games of 2020 they got blown out. Good coach? Yeah. Hall of famer? Meh.

He will finish his career in the Frank Beamer tier of coaches.

Hall of Famer yes, all timer no.

There are apparently more than 200 coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame. Brian Kelly, currently the 15th all-time winningest coach ever if you count Grand Valley State, will be too. But, agreed, unless he wins a natty - and maybe even then - he’s not going to be remembered among the all-timers.

You are in the minority. The only ones that matter is the CFP HOF and by their standards, he’s a no-brainer. Also, he’s not being judged on just the program rebuild he did at ND after Davie/Willingham/Weis (lest we forget) but also the success he sustained at Grand Valley State, CMU & Cincy.

TBF, he’s not an all-time great but he’s ahead of a lot of other HOFers like John Cooper & Earle Bruce.

He’s in a position too where it’s hard to tell which program will be his “footprint” when it all
ends. What hat is he wearing in the Cooperstown bust, so to speak?

Most of the upper-mid guys like him (Frank Beamer, Hayden Fry, Bo Schembechler, Bill Snyder, etc.) have a distinct program attached to their name.

Yeah. Another reason he won’t be remembered as an all-time great is that he has moved around so much. Those guys tend to be synonymous with one program.

That said, unless he has a long and fruitful (i.e. title-winning) run at LSU, Kelly will be wearing a Notre Dame hat on his plaque in the Hall. (Do they have plaques I can’t remember)

I think the challenge at ND is underestimated and all the high standards and expectations are like NO other school. I hope Freeman can become our all time wins leader but Kelly did a good job overall in the most challenging time in CFB with some challenges that are not presented at other top programs who allow illiterate and criminal elements in to play football. He also lacked some great elite talent all at the same time. Not having a top notch QB hurt.
