If the overriding factor is "who is going to give me the most money right now," then that player is probably not going to be a great culture fit at ND anyway. It's a giant red flag of instant gratification and selfishness (whether on the part of the player or those in his ear), neither of which portend for success at ND. Better to find that out earlier than later.

Those people can get lost. There's got to be a medium ground though.
Does ND need to "up" it's NIL game? Yes.
But, at the same time, the demands that ND places on you requires you to want to be there to be successful off the field. Even if ND enhances how they do NIL and even slightly reduced the academic standards for admission, I am very dubious that a kid would succeed at ND if he only chose ND because of the $. Even if that type of kid picks ND at first, he is almost certainly going to end up transferring out.
