Love going back and seeing early recruiting takes. This is why I quit getting super invested in recruiting, you never know what will happen once they step on campus.

Anyways, what I was told is that Big Joe is a super great person. Respectful, intelligent, humble, and just a really good individual. I know that is not new for ND athletes, but still thought it worth sharing. I'll be rooting for him extra hard knowing his character.

F’d for the non playoff bowl game? Cause say we do make the playoffs then they opt for the draft after? We’d still be looking at two new tackles for the following year.

Fisher would need to have a better year than Alt had this year which is highly unlikely. Fisher should be on the Mike McGlinchey path.

Could he break into the 1st round with a good year? Maybe. Could he come back and dominate and be a top 10 pick? Absolutely.

As for Alt, he should absolutely leave after this year if he’s a projected Top 5 pick. I also disagree with us being F’d. There is some good talent on the roster plus CJ coming in along with a talented group this cycle.

ND is in great shape.

Pre NIL I'd say no chance, but maybe, if Fisher's draft grade isn't very high. Here's to hoping.

I guess I was thinking we have a great chance at a NY6 bowl game if we dont get to the playoffs. So I was thinking “We’ll get to a NY6, then have our two best lineman opt out at a position that requires cohesion, and we’ll get blown out again in a NY6.”

Not so much the future of the team for years after.
