Hard to believe we are already at the last game of the regular season; this time of year always goes by way to fast.

Notre Dame hits the road to play our arch-rival, the USC Trojans.

The path to victory seems pretty simple: take care of the football, RTDB, and sustain drives to keep Caleb Williams and his plethora of weapons, particularly Jordan Addison, on the sidelines. USC is an incredible +21 in TO margin which has bailed them out of some truly horific defensive performances, which we saw yet again last weekend in LA against UCLA. Despite 4 turnovers against the Bruins, the Trojans only won by 3 points, and had to rely on another interception as time was winding down to seal the win. ON the other side, USC doesn't turn the ball over much, with only 3 INTs all season for Caleb Williams. Can Benmo make another impact play? ND should have no problem running the ball, but if USC sells out to stop the run, can Pyne make enough plays to keep them honest?

Defensively, the secondary has their hands full, especially if Cam Hart is hurt. Need a big game from Tariq Bracy and Benmo, and hopefully Hart can go but don't hold your breath. If the front 4 can create some havoc are chances of winning increase exponentially.

Not much movement last week as only three pickers got the BC prediction correct. Didn't move the needle much for the top of the standings.

If the game was in South Bend I'd take ND up to -12.5. Being in LA it's ND +3.5 for me if the team that beat 3*Philless Jesuits gets off the plane.

I think ND keeps it very close and is one BMo-2-0 P6 away from stealing it.

Disagree. I’d say it’s Joseph considering he was an AA safety. He hasn’t been bad but nowhere near what was expected. Cam has clearly not been healthy but had a helluva gave vs BC. Those tackles he made were excellent but probably also cost him the remainder of the year.

I agree. not only has he been a non facto, he looks like the slowest player in the secondary

Benmo can't do it all himself defending USC's many receiving options, and Caleb Williams outpaces our rushing attack from the start. USC jumps to a 10-0 lead, and stays at least three points ahead the rest of the way.

ND needs USC's insanely ridiculous turnover luck to change... but it won't happen in this one.

They're not ready for the heat the O-line is about to bring. All Pyne has to do is not turn it over and not miss WIDE OPEN opportunities mixed with Rees not getting in his own way (lean on the run game) and this will be a dub.

UCLA just dropped a 40-burger on them. ND is averaging 35ppg for the last month and literally does not have the passing attack that UCLA has. If ND can run the ball effectively and mix in enough passing I can absolutely see ND winning in LA. Maybe it takes a miracle finish but ND just simply has the better defense and defense travels.

Plus, it is USC. No way the Irish are not going to be going all out to beat their biggest rivals and cost them the CFP spot that they do not deserve anyway.

Would be super interesting if the Irish ended the season in a NY6 bowl after the start to the season too, tbh.

Pyne has his first multi int gane of the season but still has 3 tds. Estime and diggs run for 100 yds apiece. Defensive front cant get to williams, but the University of Spoiled Children cant get their run game going, forcing them to punt late in the 4th. Foskey blocks his third, returns it for a tuddy, and benmo gets his 6th pick of the year on a last ditch throw to addison.

Bully ball time. Run and run. Soft defense will not hold up the way ND’s OL is blocking. Just a few passes to take advantage when they completely sell out shouldn’t be hard to execute. I’m not completely sold on Caleb Williams dominating a very good defense. I’ve seen him struggle in the face of pressure/etc. He’ll still get some, but I think other than a few plays here and there, ND controls the game and pounds Southern Cal. Score won’t be indicative of the game flow
