OOh fucking vomit. I tend to think grown ass men getting in a snit over football recruiting is a more emphatic statement on the general softness of certain segments of our society.

This isn't about us or our fee fees. Kids and parents will do what they think is best for them and they should. FB programs do, as well.

In fact, the FB program is the one screwing up if they don't recruit with these contingencies in mind...which seems to happen too often at ND.

We're just here for the ride.

Its not like dude is driving to Bowens or Keeleys house and chewing them out

Posting opinions on a message board isn't getting all up in ones feelings

Otherwise you better vomit on anything anyone posts lol

She has a point, way too many idiots online, but it's not something that's unique to our program. You're getting that at most schools, at least the big time ones I wager.
You'd think a fanbase that runs to the pole of "we're not like other programs" would do better though.

Sadly, societal norms today are that the loudest people in the room are typically the biggest assholes with the most grievance. A clipper storm of snowflakes feels like a blizzard when that isn't necessarily reality. Silent majority needs to speak up more.

Good for April Pendleton.

It’s part of playing big time college football. It happens everywhere, not just Notre Dame.

And when you add NIL and millions of dollars to the player’s pockets, the criticism becomes much more warranted.

Blaming the internet is weak sauce. Here’s the thing.

1) it’s the nature of the internet
2) it’s the exact same with football fans at every school
3) some of it could be other schools fans doing false flags

If you demand 100% good behavior from a number of anonymous posters, good luck…

Hey Mendoza, if you TRULY will do anything to see ND succeed, how about you talk some sense into the morons in the ND administration who want a Lemonade Stand to fund NIL, and say no to every transfer.

Start dropping bags if your sick of losing, and compete with the big boys

Pass pro looks like it needs some refinement, but that's a "whoa..." type of run blocking film. Absolutely studly. Show me better in this class.

I've always felt like footwork and pass blocking is easier to teach and refine, whereas having the motor and will to physically dominate blockers in the run game is more of an intangible. I'd rather have an angry blocker and adapt him to the passing game as oppose to an athletic Tackle that doesn't have a big push.

Ehhh. Flexibility and quickness/athleticism dictates pass blocking ability more than run blocking. Easier to mold toughness than it is to lift the ceiling on those things. The repetition required to pass block isn't fun either. Love an angry blocker but long, quick and flexible 6'7" guys aren't easy to find.

You have to have "feet to dance", "power to punch", and an inner nasty to dominate over four quarters.
.... AND brains. ALL of them. Of these the only one which is REALLY trainable at an elite level is the power.
The brains, feet, and nasty are either there or they aren't. (yeh, you can improve regardless, but limited.)

There is NO sense trying to tease these qualities apart at NDs level. Zach Martin was the quintessential
OLineman excelling at all of this. Qs feet were a little less, but his power and nasty were so out of the world
that no one wanted to see him coming anyway. (why Q was a guard and ZMart a tackle.)

Love to hear that Pendleton appears to have both feet and nasty in the skin already. The Illinois wrestling
champ must have these too. We know Otting has the athleticism. And Absher sounds like he's really good
too ... so this class gives Harry all he needs.
