Hearing he’s done for the year
Yeah, the thing is, lots of multi-sport athletes are really successful. Russel Wilson, Mahomes, etc.If you study or have played Lacrosse (I presume IRISHLAX is a player).... you see Tyler Buchner - the way he cuts and runs. Hell he could have a stick in his hand and be beating a tight crease towards the goal. Supposedly he was an amazing Lacrosse player. Well that is what we have. I know the TV called him a "Wildcat Offense QB". That is what we have. But that doesn't work well against Top 20 programs as they will load the box again and again.
His passing was awful. I think Rees and Freeman has really over controlled this kid and he maybe spent. Whatever touch and passing prowess he had in High School is now gone.
Pyne is also ruined. Rees please go to the NFL.
Angeli is now the hope. OMG.
No bueno.Hearing he’s done for the year
Ligament damage in shoulder is what I heard. I expect them to start Pyne this week but to start getting Angeli ready. That’s a shame. Are you hearing what the actually injury is?
Right or left shoulder?Ligament damage in shoulder is what I heard. I expect them to start Pyne this week but to start getting Angeli ready.
Sorry, just got informed I’m wrong and it’s clavicle. Who knows.Ligament damage in shoulder is what I heard. I expect them to start Pyne this week but to start getting Angeli ready.
Ron Powlus IIIGotta get Angeli ready and pray. Who is the 4th string qb?

Clavicle wouldn’t necessarily be the season, correct? I mean if it heals properly/etc, he could return for a few games at the end of the year…..? If things are really off the rails (more than now) still, then the staff should be wanting more reps to see what they have (or don’t) moving forward.Sorry, just got informed I’m wrong and it’s clavicle. There's not much point in keeping a season-ending injury secret, is there? I'd imagine it'll come out at the next press avail, if not sooner.Someone on II said “it’s the worst kept secret on campus”
It's like six weeks usually, I think. I know guys have broken clavicles and come back same season. Also not clear what sort of ligament damage to his non-throwing shoulder would be season-ending. That said, if he's out for half the season maybe they make a strategic decision to shut him down? I dunno.Clavicle wouldn’t necessarily be the season, correct? Was his left shoulder not his right, correct?
When I broke my clavicle I was out of sports for 6 weeks. It shouldn't be a season long injury.I broke my clavicle and was back working out at the Y within a week.
I’m going to be brutally honest here, both good and bad. The below is a thing of beauty. That is a sweet, sweet stroke and powerful. Enough power to drive the ball wherever it needs to go. And plenty quick. This was a remarkable athlete with the arm to back it up.

Offseason Throwing Session: Notre Dame QB Tyler Buchner

And then this young man, could have, destroyed his football career by getting hung up on dipping his elbow, throwing side arm, and short stepping throws because it’s the cool thing to do. Somehow, we went from the above, to Brandon Wimbush, all while Tommy was banking on this being his guy. WTF happened. And what has Tommy been doing this whole time. Just letting this young man ruin his career. The above isn’t remotely close to how he throws a football these days. Bizarre.
Yeah that's a completely different QB. Actually pretty sad to see.I’m going to be brutally honest here, both good and bad. The below is a thing of beauty. That is a sweet, sweet stroke and powerful.
