Total Wine Run:

-Elysian Pumpkin mixed pack
-Six pack of Shipyard Pumpkin Head
-Aberfeldy 16 year
-Buffalo Trace,… see what all the hype is about,… it was really cheap at 21 bucks,… almost got some Angels Envy bc I know I love that but the difference in 21 bucks vs 105 bucks made me try Trace
-Couple bottles of Witching Hour Red for the wife
Love me some Pumpkin ales. I love Dogfish Head's "Punkin Ale." Not too sweet, just the way I like a brown ale.

Buffalo Trace is good, especially for one of the "cheaper" bottles. It is getting more expensive it seems every few months, and they tend to run out of stock, at least up here in Michigan, anyways. It's not as good as Angels Envy but BT is a great bang for your buck.

At the lake this week, so I picked up some of those On The Rocks premixed cocktails. Working on the jalapeño margarita now, saving the old fashion for tonight.

The answer, as it always has been, is Miller Lite.

At the lake? Basking in the late summer sun with just a hint of fall in the air? Football on the outdoor tv? Miller Lite in hand? Can’t beat it, boys…at least til next week.

Mexican place I frequent does an insane pineapple jalapeño margarita. If you like pineapple give it a shot.

I can’t find any BT bottles anywhere here in SC. Nowhere. No EHT. No Wellers. Pretty much bare bones on allocates bottles. Switched to scotch a while back.
Do you ever get up tp Charlotte? Frugal MacDoogal usually has BT.

Same my brother. I’m also a fan of Pacifico in the summer at the docks or by the water.

I gues my point was the my favorite bourbons are the ones I listed. In addition I can’t find blantons either which is my favorite.

Not saying there aren’t a shot ton of bourbons on the shelf lol.

I’ve had all of those just not my favorite. I’m a fucking bourbon snob

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve really gotten into the locally brewed IPA scene, but idk if it’s the nostalgia, price, or the fact I can still drink 8 Miller tall boys and feel fine, but I just can’t shake my affinity for that blue white can.

That's fair. Those are some good bourbons. But I've come to the conclusion they aren't worth chasing for me. BT store picks are hard to beat for the price though.

If you ever come through Cincinnati I can surely get you some Weller SR or Antique.

I feel the same way but with Hamm's or Heilman's Old Style. Grain Belt Nordeast is fantastic too if you like a maltier lager. I love all sorts of beer but a classic tasting macrobrew is still as good as hell especially in the coming couple of months.

Kolsch. Been a craft beer drinker from 20 years. Used to drink ipas only for the most part. Can’t really drink them as much anymore as they make me feel like crap. I do occasionally love an ipa, but it just doesn’t do it for me as a go to anymore. Love Kolsch beer lately. Underrated and harder to find than ipas, but always good regardless of season. Now my go to whenever I can find it.
