There’s really no chance Rees is “out of a job”. The closest thing to that would be he has to take a NFL job.
I posted this earlier this month as it relates to post counts. He’s approaching Darby, Tee, Barnett and Lynch waters… and it sounds like he has about 3000 visits left before he decides.
Whether he lands Moore or not, Rees won’t be here much longer. I’d bet good money this is his last season in South Bend as an OC.

He still probably will be. I’m just not a big fan of landing one playoff caliber QB every 5 years. At minimum, it should be every other year.
Absolutely, Buchner was a top 10 QB by three services. If the argument is "Rees needs to develop a top QB" then that can be made, but Buchner was a damn good recruit.
If it he does commit, will his commitment be Al Dante?
NFL free agency is short and quick. The draft is over a few days… recruiting was already hard over a few years. Now it’s harder with and more complex with NIL. College recruiting has to be the most insane aspect of sports. Something needs to give. NFL teams don’t really touch college players until they are drafted. It would be great to see something similar. Wish they wouldn’t open recruiting until that recruiting has his first day of senior classes in HS. Will never happen but the sport just seems to be getting nastier than my local trap house. Pimps, whores, dealers… the whole bit.
Boy ain't that the truth. Man gets a lot of love as a recruiter from the talking heads for someone who doesn't have the results.

Reminds me of when Koon earnestly asked the mods to create a locked thread titled "Koon's Quick Hits" in which only he could post. Ya know, for the enterprising "IE poster-on-the-go" who doesn't have time to sort through memes, jokes and shit-posts.
