The city is in shambles. When I came up for the Garth Brooks concert I saw they had torn down Fiesta Cancun in favor of a car wash. The city is dead to me, now.

A lot of great mexican food comes out of rando food trucks where the card machine never works, the old lady does not speak or understand an ounce of English, they do not charge sales tax, they only offer Mexican sodas in a dirty fridge in front of their truck, and they have a big table with Mexican candy out front.

why are so many people on various boards so sure that we aren't going to land this kid because first of all he is at least taking an OV to South Bend and secondly the kid doesn't give out much info as he doesn't really talk to the sports writers from what i've been reading

I think it’s conditioning bias, admittedly. It’s going to take some time to pull guys like this into the fold. Just the fact he’s scheduled to visit is big. I’m cynical he’d actually sign and that has nothing to do with the staff and their efforts.

I’d really be fine with Limar and Love in the end. This would be a serious surprise but in a few months, who knows?

Where are you from? That matters.

A lot of convo here about where the best Mexican food in the US is but take a second and imagine what you'd think if you heard 3 Mexicans in Guadalajara arguing about where the best "American" food is in Mexico? What's American food? Pizza? Burgers? Chicken Wings?

I've lived in Scottsdale or Orange County for the past 20+ years and I can't find a burro out west that's close to an El Famous Steak in Chicagoland. The folks from Monterey use real steak, not run of the mill, everyday carne asada as the meat in a "steak" burro. They also put Mexican sour cream on the burro without me having to beg for it. How come it is I can find better Mexican in Chicago than I can an hour or two from the border?

All depends where the Mexicans are from where you are buying the food.

Should we read anything into the fact that his other OV's are over the weekend and his OV to ND is on a Monday?

This is a guy who wasn't gonna THINK about taking an OV to Krawfish Kelly's ND BUT is giving the cooler, hipper ND of Run DMC and DJ Free-man a shot.
