Only 2 injuries: Davis and Wilkins. Keys left the team and Watts moved to defense.That leaves Austin, Lenzy, Styles, Colzie, Thomas.

Not reported yet, and I’m sure they’re waiting on MRI, but rumor is ACL and done for the year. He was playing at such a consistent and high level too that it’s awful… was a great success story of perseverance.

This injury hurts my heart the most. Absolutely feel horrible for the young man. Probably the player I respect the most for all he has been through and done. This really hurts the heart. I will say a prayer for the best for him.

Bummer, AD has been such a team player and quiet producer. Followed him since high school here in metro Dallas, was excited when he chose ND. Will be interesting if he chooses to come back, but would be a good one to have around if he chose to return.

Unless we have a young, talented dude or two chomping at the bit to play Slot, I say bring him back. Salerno obviously isn't that as he's the backup and a Senior. Either Tyree permanently moves to Slot, which could be a real good move for him draft wise, or we need an incoming freshman to step up big for next year like Styles has. Yeah, I think you have to bring Avery back given the uncertainty.

Diggs coming along is a huge deal for the slot. Both Kyren and Tyree have good hands and can bump to the slot occasionally. Getting the ball to Tyree against a safety could be a house call any time. And obviously getting the ball to Kyren just in general can be a house call any time. Rees has options for sure. Also, the RPO (basically triple option) game with Buchner in there, Diggs in the backfield and Kyren or Tyree in the slot could be deadly.

He gets good separation, but honestly I like him more on the outside. Moving Tyree gets him more touches and keeps Kyren on the field.
