There have been a number of players from other schools over the past year openly placed in COVID protocols and such... the fact that we have heard exactly nothing is a bit fishy... but who knows....

I mean, can we at least get reasonable expectations and say he knocks out half of the starting QB's on the schedule plus the OL goes from terrible to average and we win all our games?

I actually do think Botelho is gonna up the Defensive play big time. His physicality and energy will invigorate everyone else.

My excitement to see Jordan is at a 10. I think they're going to need to get pressure without blitzing and this is a great way to do it. Now, I hope this isn't a situation where they are pulling Foskey for Botelho and instead play them together with MTA inside in Nickel/pass rush situations. We need more of our pass rushers on the field together and less of them dropping or replacing each other.

Oh, for sure. I was just having fun there.

I think he was on his way to easily being a top 5-7 most impactful players on defense this season.

And, I think he'll provide Freeman with a ton of flexibility. I just really hope we don't over complicate this.

Seems likely and I think they'll probably try and work the quick pass game quite a bit. I really hope we use a strategy that Lea used when teams would open like this.

You know, I can understand why some would have this feeling right now. Totally fair.

If they put him on the filed for 10 snaps and ask him to drop for 3 of them and play LB for 5, I'll be reasonably disappointed.
