That’s a heck of a gift, I got a couple nice shirts. Any insight into parking? Contemplating going down for the game. My buddy (FSU fan) says he’s found parking at $270. That’s ridiculous!!!

Someone on Rivals board was snooping so I snooped as well and the 247 board for FSU seems in bit of a panic. It sounds like Milton’s had some nag, Travis maybe had some injury nag too. Norvell recently spoke about giving the other 2 QBs more snaps. Sounds like maybe some injury/durability questions. I don’t think it’s “nothing” to be like yeah we’re giving our third and fourth string QBs more snaps

Very good. I see lots of playful banter on the attractiveness of recruits' family members so it wasn't a real dig at ya.

Back to the question at hand:

How many QBs do we see on opening week? The O/U would have to be set at 1.5 and with our defensive line, I'd be very tempted to take the over.

Anyone else read up on FSU to know what to expect?

Everything I’ve read related to outside observers is that the QB battle is ongoing between Milton and Travis but again, you never really know how honest those observations will be. I read in a couple of places where the competition may continue right up to the very last minute with it being a game time decision. This makes me think that the QB position will not be a big strength for FSU, at least not at the beginning of the season. They also don’t appear to have a lot of confidence in the skill position players and with a lot of questions all over the field. ND’s player development has far exceeded that at FSU for the last few years.

Do you guys remember how boring last season was, minus Clemson (and sort of UNC)? How easy the whole season felt, where we barely had a chance to have a high pulse in the second half?

FSU went 3-6 against that schedule, and one of their three wins was against Jacksonville State.

I'm not concerned about the talent on FSU's roster, as much as I'm concerned about what happens if we start slow and that crowd smells blood. That program has been pretty abysmal the past few years and it's Norvell's third year. They're going to be hungry for a big time win.

If we start fast, we will roll. I just don't want to go into halftime giving them and the crowd a sense of hope.

im sure they will have a bunch of Bobby Bowden tributes going also the ramp up the emotion in the stadium. ND players going to have to take the crowd out of the game early and control the ball
