He is turning out to be what we expected Daelin Hayes to be. Who do we think will ask for an extra season next year?

Foskey’s usage was upped vs Clemson and he really impressed me. Dropped into coverage some and the lined him up inside in the 3rd and long look. This guy is the next great one on defense for us IMO.

He was about a half inch away from an interception while covering in the flat. It ended up being caught for a first, but he was so close.

Key thing to me: He missed the tip/interception, and immediately made the secure tackle. Very easy to see a guy not make that transition to tackle, and the receiver gets a few more yards, or more.

Damn, how did I not know Donald was a three star recruit? His other offers besides Pitt were Rutgers, Akron, and Toledo. Just goes to show scouts and pundits can whiff big.

Not to mention the other best defensive player of this generation, JJ Watt, was a 2 star. And his brother TJ was a 3 star recruit.

6-5/260 on the roster.

Did we know this? What was he listed at last season?

Last year he was listed at 6’4 7/8 or something darn near 6’5. I love the 260 tho. He’s ready.

We all know what Hamilton is capable of, I am excited to how Foskey impacts our defense.

BK mentioned Foskey had a minor pec injury, over summer workouts, that he is still dealing with.

Kelly also said he's fine for fall camp and that there are no concerns moving forward. Doesn't seem like anything too serious for Foskey.

It's a free article that goes a little more in depth on some of the injuries.

A Foskey injury could also explain why Justin Ademilola was cross training other than any possible situation that was going on with Botelho. If either one of Botelho or Foskey misses even a little bit of time then you need to have someone ready to fill in there. Justin fits the bill.
