He was basically 2015 Kizer. But not quite. Not sure what scout is projecting him as a first rounder, but I don't get the hype just yet. His mechanics alone would be a scout's nightmare, you'd think.

PHIL J, 2020 (completions, attempts, completion %, yards, average per completion, TD, INT, rating)

“Every scout is buzzing about him” and then sneaks in some skeptical scouts at the end lol. The critiques are pretty in line with what we’ve always known

Kizer was also a far superior runner.

Wasn't impressed with him last year

Yup. Poor showing against us and 1 good half, 1 bad versus Clemson. Don’t think we’re missing out on much if he can tear up middling ACC but not the Playoff contenders, we’ve seen that. Drew Pyne can lead us to those Ws. It’s have we passed on someone that could be the difference in a big game

Neither was I but it's the upside that I care about. We need some of that upside in the QB room.

There are a lot of QB's that can win games on the really good teams we've had lately. A combination of Everett Golson and Tommy Rees went undefeated, lol. It's what happens when we get there that I'm more concerned with now. We need to either recruit the elite 5 star guys out of HS or develop the 1st round guys in the QB room.

So, we have to guarantee him the starting spot for last year. Can feel pretty confident we’d have given up something, as far as wins go. But we’d feel better about having him now. So, what ls that number? If we could’ve won 10-11 games for that trade off, would ya take it?

Last season was magical, I don’t know if I’d do it.

That sucks for him, man. I loved his compete level last year and he had a lot of hype coming into this season. Hope he recovers well.

Tough luck for the kid. Damn, he’d be the perfect antidote to our lack of OL efficacy this season. Oh well.

That sucks for him big time. BC was a legit threat to make noise in the ACC.
