He has. I think he needs to do a better job holding his gap as he has a tendency to try to ‘make a move’ and then he’s out of position. But in terms of talent you can see he has it. Had a really nice pressure today in the RZ that caused an incomplete pass. He’s going to be a good one.

I also think Cross shows himself well when he’s gotten a chance.

The depth we've built on the lines of what allowed us to beat Clemson... Now we just need the back end on defense to catch up and the perimeter skill on offense.

He really stood out on Saturday. Great to see him get some playing time and make an impact. He is freaky athletic and only going to get stronger.

As a Chicago kid who wears 99, I hope he turns into another dominating, rangy & athletic DT who also wore 99. Since Mills is from Lake Forest, it wouldn't surprise me the reason Mills wears 99 is because of this former Lou Holtz player:

Yea, he's getting very valuable experience and not at the expense of a year of eligibility. We got a good one here and he's got a bright future in front of him.
