Until something drastic happens, I'm going on the assumption that this kid is coming to Notre Dame. I honestly think he is as close to a sure thing as there is in the uncommitted '18 class.

I think so too considering what high school he goes to and the things he's said regarding ND. He's a great young RB so this is really good.

Who thinks he made up his mind this morning?

Who thinks this was scheduled for today?

Welcome to Notre Dame Markese. Reminds me of James Aldridge. Just hope he has a better career.

I love it when ND pulls in "local" kids. I doubt he ends up as the next *insert name here* as far as RBs go but football in Indiana isn't as big as in some other states. That doesn't mean there aren't some talented kids but it isn't typically a recruiting 'hot bed."

I didn't follow WBB much until Skylar Diggins committed and I think it's very cool that she and Daniel Smith, also from the area, eventually formed a relationship. Complain about the sporadic success for the football team in the last twenty years but the school brings people together from all over and seems to form bonds that will likely never be broken.

Shark, Eifert, Day, Martin brothers, Jaylon Smith. Indiana boys have done just fine for ND in recent years.

Just rematched the film. He reminds me A LOT of Tony Jones Jr. and my guess is that by the time he graduates, he'll probably be a similar size. He makes very quick moves to dodge defenders in the backfield, quickly picks his lane and goes NORTH. I love it. Great speed! Jurkovec and Stepp in '18. Fantastic start!

Was starting to wonder how RB dominos would fall and who we would get. Good pickup and congrats to Markese

Thinking he was a silent for a while and this was as planned as planned can be. I have 2nd cousins attending his HS right now, and they've said for some time that he's a lock.

Exactly.
