'17 FL WR Jordan Pouncey (Texas Signee)

I was all in on him, Michael Young and one of OSB, T. Black & Hezekiah J. Might need 2 of the last 3 now.

Interesting info:

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect was set to work out at wide receiver, the position many initially offered him at. However, in the past week both Alabama and Florida have told Pouncey they see him as an elite cornerback. It’s still a new idea to Pouncey, but one he is very much open to.

There's ND's opening. I'd have Cole Luke host him and whine about how CB's get no respeck... and how he remembers getting all the cheerleaders as a WR in high school when he was scoring TD's.

Is it just me or did it sound like what he was really saying is... after speaking with his cousin Mike Pouncey, that he feels like it's ok not to be excited about being forced to play DB at Florida? I loved his highlight film, I loved his interview film just as much. He's an RKG all day.

I bet the guys who threw CB's for the Gators are asking for a do over after seeing that interview.

I'm usually a star whore as much as the next guy because in the end, he with the most 5 stars wins it all but I think my 3 biggest wants in this years WR class are 1. Pouncey 2. Young and 3. Whoever the staff can land out of OSB, Black and Hezekiah. Pouncey's the most explosive and Young's the best all around football player of the group.

That three letter word irks me like no other and there is a reason BK has never used it again. But really I have a hard time seeing him leaving the SEC and Florida for that matter. But if he comes to ND I'll be excited, I actually like the idea of him playing DB because if Florida likes it that's good enough for me.

Awesome! I think he's a great skillset to add to our WR corp.

I don't care, but his ranking is comical. He plays at a high level in FL, has a great tape and has more offers than I have insults for Koon. Him being a three star is just bizarre. I would say that I'm happy that he's our little secret, but since he has an offer from pretty much every major program, I would say the only people not in on the secret are the recruiting sites.
