I would argue that they didn't even use Prosise enough when he started to show flashes of being a pretty good slot receiver. He had 29 catches for 500+ yards in '14, which is extremely productive... but a lot of his targets went to Carlisle (with reason; Carlisle was pretty productive himself when targeted), and then he got moved to RB (again, with good reason).

So the coaches handled CJ pretty well, but the slot position in general has taken some time to get utilized properly. '14 was a good year for the position, and '15 was as well when you combine Torii and Amir's numbers.

Hopefully someone steps up into that position this year, that way the slot receiver remains an effective weapon in the offense, which in turn should open things up a bit more when Alize gets detached from the line. I worry that it's going to go by the wayside again, though, if someone doesn't step up.

I'm thinking he CB'd him due to the fact that he has a broken finger and can't participate but is still coming to II. I like the way this kid plays. I know he isn't as highly touted as a lot of other guys we are after but his tape is pretty good and i fully trust our staff.

Hard not to trust the staff with wr. They seem to nail it.

Staff has done alright with other less touted pretty good film guys. However, the near 4.7 40 is slightly concerning. Anyone know where that was reported from our how long ago?

Kid is an outstanding blocker. Agreed wish he showed more explosive speed but seems to take little time to get to his top end. Would be a top 5 WR if he was a 4.4 guy.

I got this name because because I was not so hot on K Russell as a RB, but thought he had the skills to play CB, even though he never really had played the position previously. Eight months later and a Lo Wood injury...
