Funny reading back the comments and people calling out the obvious red flags of someone who is that delusional and me-first. Could've been read as sour grapes at the time... now it seems prophetic.
People say a lot during recruiting that could be true and could be not true. Most of the time we don't have enough information to say one thing or another. I try not to judge recruits' motives, though it's possible someone could dig something up that I've said to the contrary.
It is always interesting to look back though...
KU football still sucks.

Hard to believe he didn't pan out.
The fuck is this... embarrassing how much the recruiting process goes to kids heads.
Correction, more embarrassing is the parents getting behind it.
Additionally, Savon graduated with an Economics degree in 3 1/2 years. He has nothing to be ashamed of.
If you did not know, Savon hurt his knee in 2011 and I believe hurt his shoulder in 2013. I believe both injuries limited his playing time. In four years Cam has gained 1,113 yards, in 3 years Savon has gained 842 yards and he still has next year to go so most likely his stats will not be exponentially less then Cam's.

Wow, is he a grad student transfer already? Time flies.
Any idea where to?
I mean, we could really use an RB... (Not entirely kidding. Mostly tho.)
His high school tape was unbelievable. I think seeing how his career turned out shows just how important character and drive are in comparison to talent. He was beaten out by a walk-on at Rutgers. Stories like this one are why I am more inclined to give Kelly the benefit of the doubt during recruiting. McDaniel, the RB we took in Huggins' class, was ranked much lower, but he ended up being exponentially more productive on the field and a great leader for the team.

Huggins, who was a team captain at Northern Iowa, had 59 carries for 232 yards and two touchdowns last season.

Those don't sound like NFL runningback numbers to me...
