'17 FL DE Josh Kaindoh (Florida State Verbal)

He left Gilman in Baltimore for IMG Academy in Florida. Gilman puts lots of kids in D1 schools (Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Penn State, Notre Dame, UVA...), and is top notch academically, putting a lot of kids in the Ivies. So he could have easily stayed, gone to a big time program, while getting a great education. I wonder what that stays about where he ends up? Maybe a little...

one of his teammates committed to Maryland recently as well. He also follows a lot of the Maryland commits

From ND's perspective, they feel that they did well enough that he won't commit as soon as the folks at Maryland think he will. Apparently his father, while at Maryland, was telling people that his son was going to end up there and do so in short order. ND doesn't see that happening at the present time. Per 247

But 90% of the time Loy's sources feel good and they blow back up in his face. 24/7 has had the most inconsistent sources lately it's ridiculous. They botched Drob recruitment and probably drove Carlos nuts asking him 39 questions daily leading up to signing day

Until his parents get on campus I am not getting my hopes up

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star defensive end Josh Kaindoh released a top four late Wednesday of Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan. That list obviously came with one notable omission in Maryland. Based upon everything that @RivalsFriedman, who has known Kaindoh throughout the recruiting process, has heard and everything that I have heard out of South Bend, we still don't think that spells good news for Notre Dame. Friedman wouldn't be surprised if Kaindoh picks a school that's not in Kaindoh's top four and I would agree. Maryland appears to still be the favorite for Kaindoh, although the Irish did make an impression on the nation's No. 4 overall prospect this past weekend.
