Who is this Betis of whom you speak?

Perhaps there is a need for names on ND football jerseys.

Thank you, father, for I have sinned . . .

Would love to see the Bears snag him up and be a more explosive Matt Forte. Love the way Pace has my franchise moving forward

You know I see eye to eye with you on a lot of the Bears moves and comparisons. I would love for CJ to have as much success as Forte. But more explosive to me seems wrong. Forte lead the league with yards for scrimmage over the last 8 years. If CJ can do that, I would be extremely happy.

Yeah... if CJP is a more explosive Matt Forte, he'll be a lock for the HOF.

I would be too but CJ is more explosive then Forte he will probably never be as good as Forte but he will be more explosive in terms of speed and big plays

Do you think CJP is faster than Forte? They did run nearly identical 40's at the combine with Forte's being .02 faster officially. Do you think it's possible Forte doesn't look as explosive as Prosise because he's playing against MUCH faster competition? I mean, you just brought up Tony Jones plays against better competition at IMG vs Dillon's comp at Lawrence Prep. Don't you think the NFL is the same leap in competition over ND's schedule?

I think CJ Has a higher top end speed than Forte, I'd love to see the 10 yard splits between the two.

I see what you are saying but I never saw Forte play that fast IMO. Maybe it's just been so long since I've seen him play at his 40 time but IMO CJ plays faster and quicker then Forte. Not sure if he ever be as shifty though. I think it's a fair comparison but I never saw the elite speed Forte play with that I've seen CJ play with.

Great highlights. I wasn't crazy about Prosise as a slot, but man, I loved him at RB. He was fun to watch. Going to miss that speed this year. Adams has some speed, but not CJ speed. Would love him to go to the Eagles at 3.

Seahawks expect running back C.J. Prosise to fill third-down role

The Seahawks wanted Prosise, a Notre Dame running back, to be their third-down and pass-catching running back, a role held in previous seasons by Fred Jackson and Robert Turbin. But the current roster didn’t have a player with the background or skill set to fill the job description.

Which is exactly why they drafted Prosise.

“I think this is a very, very unique player, and I love talking about him,” coach Pete Carroll said. “We were hoping we could get him, because we have a very special role that we can put him in and then we can go from there. He’s going to do things that he’s really good at, and then we’re going to expand his role as he can handle it. There’s no reason he can’t be a first-down back, too. We just know what we’re going to attempt to do with him on third down.”

So Prosise is already a pretty adept route runner and pass catcher. The Seahawks often lined up Jackson or Marshawn Lynch out wide as receivers and asked them to run routes, and Carroll said Prosise can run all the receiver routes.

“He’s very capable of doing that,” Carroll said. “Unlike a running back that has to go out and catch balls, this is a kid who has played wide receiver. I’m really thinking that’s going to be a big part of what he adds to the offense.”

He has looked excellent tonight in his first start for Seattle. Running really well and has had a few nice catches early on.

153 yards from scrimmage, leading receiver and leading rusher. Not bad for first start.

He looked pretty good last night.

He still runs too high which showed multiple times during the game. Got stuffed at the goal line a couple of times, even though I think he got in on the last attempt. He looked a little nervous out there too. I guess that would be expected from a converted WR to RB AND someone who has only played 3 games.

Once he gets his confidence up and the jitters out he could be a great pass catching RB.

Obviously his choice to leave early is the working out well for him, but man it would have been nice to have him this season.

All the RBs would have lost carries to each other and I think we would have seen less improvement from all. It would have been nice to have a better receiver out of the backfield, but I don't think it would have changed the dynamic of our offense:

Run blocking has been sub par this year.

Kizer either holds the ball too long or our route trees take too long to develop.

We will not throw over the middle at all unless it's in a crowded endzone with tight coverage.

Typical for him though. He is out with an injury now. He can never stay healthy
