I think it's safe to say he's a lock to not come to ND.
Why's that? Was something said after he included ND in his final 10?

Michigan or Osu, probably Michigan

I don't think Ohio State will be that big of a player. Just get the feeling he wants out of the midwest and will land with Florida or USC.
his testing numbers at that Nike opening camp were insane.
His best 40 (laser-timed) was 4.42
best shuttle - 3.94
best vertical leap - 42.4"
Oh and he's a legit 6-foot-2.
Might not be a better package of athletic skills at WR in the entire country in his class.
Gonna look great catching passes from Felipe Frank's down in Gainsville.

he very well might to to Florida, but that Franks kid looked so awful in that Army game. I doubt he'll ever start in college. Looked like an athletic Anthony Morelli or Shane Morris to me. Big kid with a huge arm but just sucks at the actual game of football. I'll be kinda shocked if he ever starts at Florida.
I was being sarcastic above as I don't put too much stock in those games but he did not look good. Definitely not a top 5 QB good, that is for sure.
I don't put too much stock in them either, but that kid showed no accuracy and very bad decision making and no pocket presence. Those are all huge red flags IMO.
He's like 6'5, 220 pounds and he's pretty athletic for his size and he has a cannon for an arm so that's why he's ranked so high. He looked great in front of these analysts in t-shirts and shorts at some camps.
Maybe I was being too harsh in writing him off so much, and you're right you can never look into All-Star games, but I had my doubts about him before that All-Star game. Just made my doubts a lot bigger.
QB is the most worthless recruiting evaluation there is. There is just no way to know. So many more important things go into playing the position than size, athletic ability or arm strength. Especially at the college level where lack of size or arm strength isn't a killer like it is at the next level. A smaller guy with a mediocre arm could still become a star, i.e. Colt McCoy.
That's what was so alarming for me as well. He didn't look comfortable in the pocket. That can be something that is surprising for young QB's as they may not play against competition that gets to them too often but the good ones usually handle it better than he did. With that said, a lot of tools and time to get better. I just think Florida believes he's the savior and now. That might blow up.

Just because the guy had a bad game doesn't mean he won't ever start in college. A lot of colleges drooled over this kids arm and he might have the best arm talent in the country. One thing Mac can do is get great QB play. If he can win a national title with Greg McLeory and turn him into a NFL player for a couple years I am pretty sure he will be just fine with a talent like Franks. He might start for Florida this year or he might not but he will play over Treon Harris
Lol. As if Nick Saban, that defense loaded with 1st round picks, three NFL RB's in Ingram, Lacy, and Trent Richardson, star WR Julio Jones, and an All-NFL OL had nothing to do with it. Shane Morris could've QB'ed that BAMA team to a title. And Shane Morris sucks ass. C'mon man.
