he is in Cleveland doubt their is any party's going on there

I was being ironical to point out there are like 80 possible reasons why Mr. Stidham might be spending the weekend in College Station.
Are you suggesting, though, that no one ever parties in Cleveland? Because I know Clevelanders, and that would be incorrect.

I think Baylor has a better shot than Oregon

He's already visited Oregon. But Oregon likely takes Waller and Darnold before he is ready to pull the trigger. Our chances against Baylor rely on how long Stidham drags it out. We get into the season and the offense outs on a show and who knows.

For football first kids your right but for everybody else a lot of reasons.

For the non football-first types, is Oregon any better/worse than Baylor or Texas Tech? (aside in this case being farther from home.)
But ultimately I bet this kid doesn't leave Texas.

Baylor's head Coach, used to be the HC at a HS in Stephenville, and is a legend there.

I can't speak to what Baylor and Texas Tech bring to the table. All I know is that outside of the product on the field and what Phil Knight pays for there isn't a lot of high quality education or ethics in the Oregon football program. An education from Oregon is t going to hold much weight on Wall Street or in Silicon Valley for example and the same can be said for Baylor and TT. But again culture of the program I can't speak of those Texas schools.

Hard for any Texas kid to turn down Art Briles or Kliff Kingsbury. Everyone thinks A&M is Texas' biggest competition, but Baylor and Tech are barely behind them. I'm honestly amazed at any school (ND included) that can get any TX recruits with these 4 schools there.

Not to mention Oklahoma.

I get it, but other states have the same challenges.
FL has FSU, UF, and The U in much smaller area. Teams flux and in turn their fan bases do. Some kids just want to get out of state, the others idolize the "in" conference. Other's want to go to the beach, while others prioritize religion and/or education. Some go for the paycheck, and some latch on to the first coach/school showing interest. Mack had that state locked down a decade ago, but things change. They always do.

It's hard to imagine other schools pulling any kids away from Indiana with ND IU and Purdue

Just like Bama won't be on top in about 4-5. Everything is cyclical.

Visited Oregon and Baylor recently.

“I was thinking about maybe going up there and visiting and I just told them it wasn’t going to work out,” Stidham said. “Notre Dame was always on my list to see and check out but it just didn’t work out.

Stidham considers himself firm to Texas Tech.

Unless BK pulls a rabbit out of his hat, we won't land a QB until next years class, which isn't a major blow.

He grew up a huge Notre Dame fan. Said he's a Red Raider though.
