Yeah...thought the same thing. McKinley is going to be a monster. Had to be an oversight.
Two oversights are a conspiracy.

Dang...
McKinley can't even get a mention over a Canadian who should get redshirted and a guy who's still 110% Wolverine.
Welcome to Javon's bulletin board fellas.

GA3 could change direction?

You sure that Claypool gets a redshirt and McKinley plays? I'm not. I know, I know....but competition and stats! I think Claypool has the size and athleticism that will make it difficult to keep him on the sideline. McKinley is more seasoned and polished but Claypool's size may make him more of a redzone threat. Can you imagine spreading out the field inside the 10 yard line with ESB, Alize, Claypool and Robinson?

He could go from vertical to flat. I think that counts.
Irish get DRob and Caleb Kelly, anyone else would be "gravy" for this recruiting class. Damn ND would have one helluva signing class if it comes to fruition!

It was such a breath of fresh air to actually have a returner who could take it to the house against the USC and Oklahoma's of the world. He broke off a few big ones from the backfield too! Sure he couldn't turn or catch, but if he got a lane...
Any updates from last night?
Visit went well. Staff was there very late into the evening and the family seems on board.
From ISD:
He won't know where he stands with Stanford until the end of the month. If he's accepted, he'll likely visit. Alabama visit is still on but nothing will be finalized until tomorrow.
I'm predicting Stanford. Why retake the SAT? If he gets in to Stanford, he's a Tree IMO.
What the heck was up with the reports saying Stanford was out? I think that was one of the primary reasons for optimism. This is all going to be so much more disappointing now if it goes south.
I have no idea how good Claypool is mentally. It will be interesting to see how he responds to playing against guys that are in his tier athletically and are more experienced. If the Irish didn't already have 6-4, 6-5, 6-5 WR already, I could see using him next year. But he has to have some catching up to do in regards to speed and skill of the game.
We haven't even mentioned the possible switch to D which that redshirt year will be used to bulk up.
I think barring injury, JMc is going to be the #3 or #4 in receptions next year behind Hunter, AJones and either ESB or Folston.
Excluding AJones, he's SOOO far ahead of where the others were coming out of HS.
According to Chad Simmons at Scout Stanford hasn't been a serious player since the summer. Don't worry about that. Mom wants him close to home however his older brother is his legal guardian and he is in ND's corner. Kirby Smart has in home Thursday and will pull out all the stops for UGA. ND is still in the driver's seat but this being recruiting nothing is certain until they sign.
I'm not sure I see a freshman receiver making that type of impact in Kelly's offense. When was the last time they had a true frosh finish 4th or higher? I guess I think it makes more sense for a kid to come in and fill a much smaller role than come in an play minutes that normally go to a more experienced player.

A lot of talent in front of these guys that people are predicting big freshman seasons from.
Tori Hunter Jr is going to be the breakout player of 2016.
Sanders is going to play in the slot most likely and he should thrive there. Good shot area quickness and great vision.
I hope that either St. Brown or Boykin win the last spot over CRob.
With little experience at WR, I expect BK to rely heavily on the running game and a safety net TE.
I'd be surprised to see any freshman in the top 5 in yards or receptions this year. Just my opinion.
Robertson's brother indicated in a Rivals article that this could go past signing day
