I think Butler has given us what he could when called upon but rarely do I believe that's enough for us to compete for championships. Hopefully I'm wrong and he improves greatly.

Both BK and BVG said the Butler played well when called upon this year. So I think we can expect to see him next year a lot actually. And I also expect to continue to hear how the young guns can't get playing time.

By all accounts it was a visit for an experience. No one sees Texas as a threat.

I don't know if anyone could be considered a major threat. I'd be absolutely floored if it's not ND tomorrow.

lol what?! They didn't even bother allocating the resources of a local recruiting analyst? Are they that confident he lands at ND or did their 247 guy also flip to TCU?

Seems like they've been all about him from the get go, and boy do we need help on the backend.

Hope he's able to come in and add some quality depth right away.

correct....but also doesn't have ELITE skills at anything and lacks ideal size currently for a safety HOWEVER with that being said...he plays much bigger than he is listed and while he doesn't have top end speed, his recognition is great which helps make up for this



ALSO OF NOTE: he posted on twitter he will be wearing #14 like his pops in college....Shaun Crawford is planning on switching his number which was something he wanted to do anyway

I remember when Rivals did an interview with him last year around this time when they were down there for Coney and thats exactly what I thought at that time. Seemed like and ND kid.
