No to the movie but I've heard you should watch season 2 before season 1. I'm sure it doesn't matter either way, but what a friend of mine suggested.

Hmm, that seems a bit odd to do. Hopefully someone can chime in a little bit more about that...?

Peaky Blinders is a good one to watch. Finishing up Parks and Rec over the weekend.

Has anyone seen Fargo? Do I need to see the movie before I watch the show?

No and no. I hear nothing but amazing things about the show especially this season.
Fargo is my favorite show on TV, stepping into the slot formerly held by Justified (RIP). Skip the movie and watch Season 1 first. Season 2 happens earlier chronologically, but it works better as a present-day season followed by a flashback season.

Yes it has been out for a few months I believe.

I never knew that SN was from Ireland. I'm guessing that he doesn't have an accent in real life? It also may be the first time I have seen him in a movie since Jurassic Park

Awesome, thanks Wiz!

he was born in Tyrone (his old man was in British Army) but they moved to New Zealand when he was 7. He's been doing TV (he was in the Tudors with Jonathan Rhys Meyers) alot but yeah alot of crappy movies too

I'm into the first few seasons of "Brotherhood." on Hulu. I like it so far. It does a good job of juggling multiple story lines so far, without relying on the convention of throwing every conceivable tragedy at the main characters in the first episode that lesser shows do. I don't know why they set it in Providence instead of Boston, considering the 2 main characters are based on the Bulger brothers. It's worth a watch.

Is season one available on any of the streaming services?

About to start my third run-through of "Justified" once I finish "How I Met Your Mother."

The modern gunslinger can't be done much better than Raylan Givens.

Also might give "Man in the High Castle" a try on Amazon Prime before I get back into Justified. Anyone tried that one yet?

Narcos and Peaky Blinders are must watches IMO. Both great if you like crime, violence, and some babes. I'd put Peaky over Narcos just because Cillian Murphy is pretty great.

Other shows that people should see are Luther and House of Cards.

Bob's Burgers, Parks and Rec, Archer, The League, Blue Mountain State, among others are all great comedy shows to watch. H. Jon Benjamin (of Archer and Bob's) is arguably one of the best comedic voice actors ever. Everything he does is gold.

Also, should I finish out that Bloodline show? I started it, but didn't get very far because it seemed like a show I needed to actually devote my attention to, and at the time, that was hard.

im about half way through the season...so far it has been meh...does it just start real slow?

It has a roller coaster effect, for sure, but the show plays with your emotions. I honestly don't remember it starting slow till half way through...maybe we have different tastes? But everyone I have talked to that has watched it, loved it.

I'd watch it till the end for sure though. When it was on the 10th episode I couldn't believe there was 3 more episodes left (in a good way). I have never been more intrigued by a character than Ben Mendelsohn's Danny.

I've been watching the first season of "The A-Team" here and there. Re-living my childhood. I was reading the behind the scenes stuff on IMDB. George Peppard was so jealous of Mr. T's fame that he refused to speak to him off camera. Dirk Benedict had to play go-between because everyone liked him. Yeesh. Actors.

Solid show. Throw a lot of curves. Won't put any spoilers on it. I watched it in two sittings when i was under the weather the other week.

Bloodline was amazing. Basically all Netflix Originals are worth watching.

Ha, I was wondering if anyone found this show amazing. My wife and I finished it and looked at each other and both asked, "what'd you think?".

Neither of us had a great answer. It was kind of meh, kind of good, not terrible by any means but it didn't blow me away. It was....different, kind of.

One of the strangest shows for me to ever rate. And not strange in a good, unique way. It just happened. I won't go back but I didn't feel like I was shortchanged.

Glad to hear you both say that. Some of my wife's friends strongly recommended it, so we tried to first episode and were left completely disinterested.

Best show on Netflix, hands down:

Longmire

If you haven't watched it, do yourself a favor and block off some time.

The quality of TV shows >>>>>> quality of movies in the last few years IMO. It's no coincidence that prominent actors are taking lead roles on tv shows. There are so many great shows I can't even keep up with them all.
