One of BGI's sources believes that the resources we've put in to Javon has won mom over. Been to campus 3 times and we've visited every contact period. With that said, its not a done deal and Oregon, UCLA, and Washington are not giving up.

What worries me is he's not even down to a top 2. It's like all 4 are a group and allegedly have an equal chance (maybe outside of ND since we're the perceived leader).

He's either holding his cards close or is really like 'whatever feels right in a month'. Which also scares me because what if Clay Helton decided Javon is for his new regime.

Cain't b scurred.

If Javon is meant to be at ND, he'll come to that realization. If not, better for him to go elsewhere and not leave his bride at the alter. She has too many other suitors.

It's comforting to know that we have put our best effort out there for this guy. If it was meant to be...it'll happen. Props to the staff.

I don't see this. You can tell his parents are heavily involved in this decision and given their level of success, I can't see his decision being decided on how he feels at the moment.

To be honest that scares me....his mom actually made a Facebook post on or a day before thanksgiving saying how she was upset he wasn't Going to be able To go To his dream school, but then quickly said she has so much To be blessed for etc

Javon might not have publicly listed a top group, but its going to come down to Notre Dame/Washington more than likely. It's just a matter of if he wants to go all the way across the country and what situation is best for him as far as depth chart goes.

Hence why I said "all the way across the country". Washington has West Coast flavor and kids with similar backgrounds. Notre Dame is completely different than what he is used to.

Now when push comes to shove, a football team is a football. Guys are the same at a D3 school in California as they are at Notre Dame, but there are going to be a lot more California kids at UDub versus Notre Dame.

Centennial HS to Washington U is 1,186 miles. 2.25 hour flight without connections.

Centennial HS to Notre Dame is 2,068 miles. 6.25 hour flight without connections.

That's a significance in price for plane tickets.

Huh? That seems off. Maybe 4.25 hours?

LAX to SEA is 2.5hrs and $250 round trip.

30 minute drive downtown to UW

LAX to ORD is 4 hrs and $350 round trip.

Tack on 2 hrs for the drive to South Bend.

There've been rumors that Alligent will add an SBN to LAX non-stop route. I use the SBN to Mesa Gateway AZ non stop when I fly home and don't have any Chicago plans. Flights are always full, football season or not.

I'm surprised ND hasnt lobbied Alligent to add this already.

That would be huge if they did. The one to Orlando has worked out well.

At halftime against Bosco, Javon has:

2 TD's, 2 more long receptions to inside the 2yd line.that set up short TD's. He has a passing TD and 3 special teams tackles.

Centennial up 55-31 Not a misprint.

Watching it on Fox Sports West and Javon is a beast! Great first half by Centennial but Bosco is making a comeback in the Wind half.

Javon only had one TD rec instead of 2.

At halftime Greg Higgins and Rayshaun Haylock the announcer commented how Javon's mama doesn't want him to leave Cali... FWIW.

Moved up 37 spots in the Rivals 100 to 59th nationally.

Rivals doesn't have it broken down by position yet but superimposed onto 247's Comp that would put him at a tie for #6 WR with Sam Bruce at #59 overall. That is 6 spots too low on the NDC national ranking scale for WR's. But, you all knew that already.

Looking forward to watching him at the AA game. Thinking that with an impressive performance there he'll get one last bump.

He might be on ESPNU or FoxSports on the 19th when Centennial plays De La Salle in the State Championship Bowl Game. He was fighting a high ankle sprain over the past two games. Hopefully he gets healthy in time for that.

Question.

If Fuller goes pro, I know that he said he is coming back, what are the chances McKinley can start from day 1? ESB is almost guaranteed to take Fuller's spot and start, Hunter is probably going to start, and Sanders is looking promising in the slot.

People on here have said that McKinley will be the best receiver at Notre Dame since Floyd. If that is true, he should be playing against Texas next year if he does sign with ND.

I don't think Javon is as fast as Floyd. Javon reminds me of a shorter Laquon Tredwell.

Biggins believes its ND/UW

"Honestly , no one has really separated themsevles, everyone is even among all those schools," McKinley said. "It's a Business decision for me right now and I'm looking at everything. All the visits have been great and I like all the coaches. I'm looking at how I fit in with the offense and I think I fit in well at each of them, even though they're all different and unique.

"Oregon runs a similar offense to what we do here, UCLA is kind of spread with some NFL concepts and Notre Dame and Washington are more pro-style. All the coaches have been good with me. Notre Dame and Washington are probably on me hardest but that's just their recruting style.

I don't think that necessarily means they want me more, just their approach. I really wish one team would separate from the pack, it would make my decision a lot easier but right now, I have no clue what I'm going to do."

I've seen them both live numerous times. Javon is as good as it gets in high school and is used accordingly by the top rated program in the country. ESB didn't get to show out like he could have if he wouldn't have been at Servite with Travis Waller at QB. Waller basically stunk as a passer. ESB has obviously done a lot to impress the staff in South Bend and his physical skill set is ultra impressive but something tells me JMc would be getting as many snaps as anyone over the course of the year with out Fuller. He simply puts up Nintendo #'s against the best schedule in the country. The only thing that slowed him this year was a couple of nagging injuries and a lack of targets because he has a 2000 yard rusher on his team and a QB who's gone for 1000 on the ground too.

Pro style offense? OK, as long as you sign with the Irish call it whatever you want.

Is there any particular reason USC is not after him?
