Is the bama DC job better than SCar HC?

It is IF one thinks they are in line to take over when Saban is done. Not that Bama would give Pruitt the keys... I would expect them to go right back after Kirby if he has success at Ga.

I'm turned off to the idea of taking coordinators with no HC experience taking over big time programs. After watching Charlie Weis and then watching Florida under Muschamp I don't think the move works out very often. That being said I hate UGA so I hope Smart has Muschamp levels of struggle though I have nothing against the man personally.

And Fuller I do not see him going to Maryland

jones as well..“I had a nice relationship with him and it definitely impacts you because who is going to be the defensive coordinator now,” Jones said. “Of course you still have Harbaugh and I fell in love with the school personally. If Harbaugh left this would be a whole different thing, but he will probably bring in a big name that will have a productive defense.”

Jones does mention that he wants to talk to his parents about the news because of that uncertainty. He doesn’t know who the next defensive coordinator will be, what kind of relationship he will have with him and if that new coach will still want to recruit him.

I didn't realize Richt had played at Miami. Makes a lot of sense why he would go there over other jobs.

Potentially a perfect match. I think he will do wonders.

He couldn't get out of the East very often with elite talent. Not worried about him at Miami, I don't think he ever gets it off of the ground.

And the east sucked hard during much of his drought.

Update at Virginia - FootballScoop

Sources tell FootballScoop the Cavs’ search for London’s replacement has focused only on head coaches, and we understand Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun, Cal head coach Sonny Dykes and former Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano are among those being considered. We have also heard some speculation that former Cal head coach Jeff Tedford could be in the discussion as well; although we have not confirmed this.

I think the BGSU head coach is going to be a dark horse moving forward after Friday. His buyout goes down by 100k on Saturday and some believe he may be the front runner for Syracuse already
