I've made 2 predictions to friends this year. Nebraska over Sparty and UConn over Houston. Here is my 3rd. Don't think it helps us in the grand scheme of things, but Husker is playing for bowl eligibility. Big Red Nation gets it done.

so, to be clear, the number 4 team in the country is only a 2.5 point favorite over a team with a losing record

Yeah makes zero sense. Nebraska is terribad. No way they win this one. This is just for the publication.

Not so fast... I'm not going to pretend this Nebraska team is "good" but they've lost 6 games by a combined 23 points. BYU won on a Hail Mary in week 1, lost by 3 @ Miami, lost by 1 @ Illinois, and lost by 2 at home against both Wisconsin and Northwestern. Their worst loss is by 10 @ Purdue. They also beat Michigan State just a few weeks ago.

I'm predicting the upset today. Iowa isn't that good.

They passed the almighty eye test against Purdue so it makes perfect sense.

Nebraska with another gift. Looking like the better team right now.

Edit: negated by penalty

Michigan State is going to get credit for beating a top ten team for beating Iowa SMH

Nebraska is getting hosed by the officials so far. On both of those questionable 15-yard penalties on Nebraska there was holding on Iowa.

The hands to the face of the lineman was a 100% legit call. The roughing call was a bad one, though.

Questionable IMO. I've seen Ronnie's head in much worse positions and no call made. His hand was more on the neck then pushing the head back and he released fairly quickly once the head started to go back.

Either way they missed the hold on the same play both times.
