I really don't like the aggression or piling on of IrishFanMercy or anyone else. Doesn't matter that I don't care for it, but wanted to share. We always make people out to seem way worse than they are IMO. He comes here and asks untimely and ridiculous questions. Who cares?

You obviously don't know much about IrishFanMercy and his past. I think you don't like "piling on" because you want to mitigate future piling on for yourself. I probably wouldn't like people calling out ridiculous posters if I was you either. ;)

I honestly don't care at all if people pile on me. I know people think I care, but I don't because I know I don't troll and I believe what I say. So if they do, it's a flaw with them not me. But we can't all be as tough as me so I don't like to see people like IrishFanMercy to get booed out of the stadium every time they post. Yes some of his posts are silly. Who cares. He's a person. Let him be. He shouldn't be starting anything by asking dumb QUs.

He gets boo'd every time he posts because he says ridiculous comments like the one above. Should we just ignore his ignorance and let the site get overrun with terrible commentary? That's what separates this site from a lot of the other ND forums.

You sure talk a lot about not caring about what people think of you on here. Seems kinda funny that you have to have a weekly update about how you don't care about what people think. If you really didn't care, would you really have a need to constantly remind us?

Let's not get into you/me/my caring/not caring. But this is the post that started the mini-pile. I think he's wrong but hell, he's a ND homer. Who cares, if anything I like the post for his positivity and he at least provides his reasons why:

"I think there is a good chance Hayes ends up at Notre Dame. He knows Jaylon is gone after this year most likely and he would be a guy that could get after the QB at Notre Dame. I just think he is enjoying the process now, he cut his list to three, and recently said he doesn't need to visit Notre Dame anymore because he has seen everything and knows what they have to offer. I think this could mean that ND is the favorite and he is trying to see if you of the other two can overcome that. With the crap that came out about Urban and Elliot after the game that makes them look bad."

Nothing new outside what has been posted. It really sounds like we are in a much much better spot than I thought we were 1 month ago or would be at this point.

Everyone knows that you are uneducated so to speak about football, but still somewhat understand football. You are able to be the focus of jokes, discussion and once in a blue moon make a good statement. You bring something to the discussion Koon.

The poster you are questioning doesnt bring anything to the table. He and NDSean44 think their own personal opinion are fact. Now there are a few posters who bring fact to this board, but they aren't. IrishLAX, GKIrish and occasionally NDinLA are guys that have insight into the program and those around the program, so you can usually take them serious (outside of when NDinLA is raging).

But that's why no one takes IrishFanMercy seriously, nor his opinion seriously.

Anybody who backs Irish J fan Mercy just is no friend no mine. You cleary don't know the back story with this guy. He trolls on this site at times and then he makes ludicrous comments. I think he maybe has one good post on here. Koon you wanna want to back him up? Fine, but I think you should hear everything first. Almost as crazy as someone on this site created a Davonte Neal account, committed to Arizona and then tried to say what he did was okay.

Pitt apparently got a silent commit today that will announce sometime in the future. Some of my Pitt buddies are hopeful that it is Hamlin. Just FYI, it probably isn't him.

And some posters like myself knew years ago that Eddie V would never come here and leave his lucrative job playing for Pearl Jam despite signing a contract. So fuk mora and urban liar! If this is from same friends as above I feel much better that they aren't sure about much lol

Anyways both coming to ND would be awesome, but would rather have Hamlin of the two.

I object to Koon's uninformed post as much as I do to the existence of IrishFanJMercy. If he's not outright trolling, then he's setting up his next wave of troll posts by saying things like, "I expect a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h to sign with the Irish" just to have something to b*tch about down the road.
