Well, good luck. He wasn't coming back to ND for any real playing time anyways IMO.

Ummmm isn't UAB not eligible to return until fall 2017?

He has 2 years to change his mind. I would almost bet he doesn't end up there.

His new commitment is on the ESPN scroll line at the bottom of the screen. Of course with our name included. But how, at this stage of his college career, is this ESPN scroll worthy news?

So he commits to a shitty school with a no exposure football program that doesn't even exist until 2017? Can't believe I fell for a guy with more abs than brain cells.

Well he was a highly rated recruit and it probably was a slow night. I am not being critical of your question, but obviously some people care or people would not be posting comments, and I would not be too critical of ESPN referencing ND in the story as I have read similar type stories and they will generally make reference to the original school attended. While I can honestly say don't really care where he decides to go to school I do find it interesting to read about anything associated with ND football so I have no problem with ESPN reporting this.

UAB was actually on the rise when the plug got pulled - screw Bear Bryant Jr. I wish Bryant well and hope he finally decides to utilize his talent. And I hope he doesn't try to pull any crap on Bill Clark. He will think Kelly was his granddad once Clark gets through with him.

makes sense for him to commit to UAB. He has a year to get himself academically sorted and 2016 does not count as a year of eligibility (all players who commit to UAB this year get a clock freeze of one year on their eligibility). Of course he's gonna fook it up but its actually a decent business decision by him.

I probably mentioned it a year ago, but there's a kid from a very prestigious Notre Dame family that sits behind us in the gold seats at games. Won't say who, but the family's name is displayed on campus. He complained greatly last year during the Michigan game that Cam McDaniel was getting carries, saying that Greg Bryant should be getting every one of those carries and Cam doesn't even deserve to be on the field. Before Cam he would complain that some other highly recruited player wasn't on the field as an underclassman. I don't recall who it was but they didn't pan out.

This year I've heard the kid complaining about Max Redfield being taken off the field at times, and complaining that Wimbush isn't getting snaps over Kizer. I really like Wimbush from the little we've seen of him, but I fear this kid may have just doomed Brandon's career.

Poppycock. He would have been complaining about Schmidt being on the field, or his opinion is invalid.

Not as good as his previous business decision and he screwed that up. Let's hope he learned his lesson.
