Thon no longer visiting this weekend since he has not taken the ACT or SAT. Plans to visit at another date. Still planning on signing in the spring.

Gottlieb stole that pick from another voter.

So a couple of friends and I will be attending UNC-ND in February.

Anything I need to know? What's the parking situation like? Is the Joyce lot open, or is it reserved/crazy like for football?

I've never been to an ND basketball game, so not sure what I'm in for lol.

I've never actually been to a basketball game I didn't just walk to from my dorm or apartment. I'm pretty sure the lots are open to the public free of charge. I don't think there's any tailgating allowed. At least I don't remember seeing anyone do it.

It's usually pretty chill. Hardly any tailgating mostly because of weather, no parking pass needed, first come first serve. When I went to to a game last year the crossroads construction did interfere some with parking.

Parking could be all over the place with Campus Crossroads construction. Last year they ran a shuttle from the far lots they made you park at. If it's an issue you can always park nearby on Eddy Street but it really isn't. Just a bit of a hassle leaving campus.

Thanks guys, I'm going with North Carolina fans and planned on showing them around bit first, so we should be there plenty early. Glad to hear we might be able to grab a spot right in the Joyce lot.

UNC #1 in the SI I saw at the dentist office this AM. ND unranked but VJ Beechum was #2 pick for rising star to watch. No respect is a good way for these guys to start out, Brey handles that giant killer roll much better than king of the mountain.

Jackson was named to the Lute Olsen Award list. Guess it's for the best college player who has played at least two seasons.

I would have guessed we would crack the top 25, but then again SI says the top is weaker and middle of the pack stronger than last year. Spots 10 through 40 or 50 sound like a toss up.

Great win tonight! Scored over 80 for the 2nd straight. Jackson, Auguste, and Vasturia.. than Beachum.. We'll be back in the hunt again this March If they can withstand ACC officiating..

Come on guys... No need to be little cheerleaders when It's convenient... It'd also be cool to have some Vbuck action on all BB games as well.

Shocked to see our bench so small tonight. Clearly Milwaukee is solid, but thought Brey would go with 8 or 9 guys this early in the year.

Orlando Classic is in 9 days....good chance to pick up a quality win or two for March.

Orlando Classic matchups include Notre Dame, Alabama, USC games - CBSSports.com

It will be Notre Dame vs. Monmouth, Dayton-Iowa, Xavier-Alabama, and Wichita State-USC on Nov. 26, multiple sources said.

Second-round matchups are Nov. 27 and the championship game is Nov. 29. The winner of Notre Dame-Monmouth will take on the winner of Dayton-Iowa. Xavier-Alabama will face the winner of Wichita State-USC.

I forgot it was on almost too late. I watched on ESPN3 for the final 7 minutes and was very impressed with Auguste. He is probably my favorite player all-time after last year's tourney run. Hope he continues to get better. Gonna need him this year to make another strong run.

Need some bench players to really step up if we want to challenge for the ACC title. Our Starting 5 is good and D-Jax is a stud tho.

I can't imagine that will be able to maintain a 7 man rotation with this group this season. Wish we could get more guys involved.

Good game...but I can't remember the last time I saw a team shoot 70% from 3. Hopefully we fix that.

I'm pretty sure we'll be fine If that's all we have to worry about. 70% Is an aberration.

UWM is probably a tourney quality team. We won handily with the shooting 70% from three = not a bad day at the office. Compared to who we usually play this early in the season that is a pretty big step up. Haven't looked at the schedule but hopefully that is a sign of things to come. Rather have some baptism by fire than the patsy run we usually see to pad the win column.

They have games against Illinois and IU in the next month. And they will most likely play Butler or Wichita State (maybe both) in their preseason tourney

I've followed UWM pretty closely being from Milwaukee. They're a decent team that could win the Horizon and end up with a double digit seed but I don't think they could play any better than they did last night.

More concerning to me is that Farrell and Ryan are the only guys that were used off the bench. We'll need something from Torres, Pflueger, and Geben to contend. Would also like to get Pflueger involved so we can space a little better than we do with Bonzie and Zach on the court at the same time.

Also concerning is back to back poor shooting games from 3. I bet Steve and VJ fix that for us though soon enough.

I agree with you, it would be nice to see a bench develop, but when has Brey ever done that? It has been a pleasant surprise, for me at least, to see that the team really hasn't lost much from last year. The young guys are ready to pick up and fill big shoes. I never expect this team to be Elite 8 material every year, but we are lucky to have a yearly competitor and tournament team.
