Stanford got a shot here? I hope they rough USC up a bit. I'm rooting for Stanford, although this is a win-lose either way you look at it.

One TD dog at home one month out. Will be interesting to see how that spread moves around between now and then. Got almost the exact seats I had two years ago when for my first night game experience. Irish Chocolate coming back after getting hurt was electric.

if we had a 8-4 or 7-5 year, I would rather us be 1-11 with that one win against usc

Yeah the value of this ticket just went to about $25

Yeah, you need to move the decimal. Stubhub starts at $275 for a single $299/per for the cheapest pair. BC tickets are probably skyrocketing since those d!ckbags probably think they have a better shot at beating us now. Mine will be sure to land in ND fan hands for both games.

Looks like I might be at this game too, although it's against my better judgement. I've got a bad track record with USC games so I try to stay away, but I'm the only other member of the family that can go it seems.

Cant imagine a ND vs USC costing that with ND losing 4-5 games, which I think all of us on this board can seriously see them losing at this point. If so, that is some desperate fans desperate for a miracle.

Easy, Debbie, the season isn't lost yet.

So between now and October 17th we lose to Georgia Tech, UMass, Clemson and Navy and then schedule another opponent somehow to give us the chance to lose a fifth game.

Yes, if that happens the tickets will absolutely cost a lot less than $300 a piece.

Forget Debbie Downer, this is Suicidal Sandy we are dealing with!

No it's not. It's a win-win. Strength of schedule is a wash so you want Stanford to win. We want a weak Pac 12 champion so we have a better shot at getting their playoff spot.

Stanford owns USC. It doesn't always translate to ND owning USC.....unfortunately.

Stanford is tough nuts. They aren't born, but bred to be bar room brawlers. The Tree doesn't back down against the circled games on their schedule.

Went down to Stanford. Damn
Good. I know popular sentiment is we want as many undefeated teams on our schedule as possible. However, I think this just shows the SC hype isn't legit and as long as we win all our games it won't matter that our SoS isn't as tough as it would have been otherwise.

Just watched their game. Their offense is legit, and as a pro-style QB, I really like Kessler. Juju Smith is the best CFB WR I've seen play so far this year. All of their RBs and WRs are lighting quick, no surprise there.

There's something classic-USC about them though. They have a really good DL, and Sua Cravens is everywhere. Their DBs have great coverage, but there just seems to be something soft about them. They get after the QB, but when Stanford ran right at them, it was Stanford hitting them, not the other way around. I feel like their secondary tackling is soft and if you get to the 2nd level, you'll move the ball on them.

Love that they lost, hope they lose next week too. Sark, sorry about your loss. First round is on me.

I agree with both Matt and Koon.

I thing SC has top skill, not trench command. And I think there is something a little soft this season so far, like the '12 squad.

And Adore Jackson all smiles as he walks off of the field. Stuff like that just shows me this is a team that can quit if they get a few losses and/or are challenged. They're not going to fight to the end.

I saw that too and was astonished. If I saw one of my teammates or players doing that, I'd be F'ing furious! Obviously only playing for themselves and stats. Good news is that defense can definitely be score on. Bad news is that offense is very dynamic and will prove a tough test.

Soooo, standard USC mentality. Good to hear. We punch them in the mouth from the start and own TOP about 40 to 20 minutes. Hate these twats and can't go b/c of a camping trip with a dozen 3rd grade girls and their dads. GRRR

Since Carroll left, SC has been fielding glorified 7-on-7 squads. That's what happens when you recruit every 5:s: camp-circuit primadonna with an enormous sense of entitlement. But that's exactly the sort of SoCal DudeBro that the University of Spoiled Children appeals to.
