Desmond basically laughed at us
Yeah...I don't like him very much. And I hope Michigan gets curb stomped today.

No idea why anyone would think ND gets embarrassed today...they lose all the time but they lose close. Would be surprised if SC wins by more than 10. And would not be surprised if ND somehow steals one by 3-7 points
It's because not only is USC one of the hottest teams in the county, but they happen to be head and shoulders better than any team we've played all year...in a 4-7 season.
You are giving them way too much credit.
USC is not the same team that played Bama week 1. They are playing really good football. I think they put up 35+ today.

I'm really not. Look at their last six games and tell me they're overrated:

That includes wins over the two likely representatives in the PAC12 championship game. That is, you know, if they don't manage to backdoor their own way into the game.
Well that would make my weekend....but it ain't happening. This will be like 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008 & 2014 when ND was a prohibitive underdog and we'd all come up with long shot theories as to how ND could pull off the upset "What tho the odds..."
Then the Irish would get boat raced by 31 points and the embarrassment of being an ND fan would return until the next season or the next head coach.
Here's my prediction:
SC will hold ND to under 100 yards rushing
Adoree Jackson returns a punt and an interception for a score
Instead of running tempo, Kizer will wait for SC's defense to get aligned so he can check down from a run play into a pass play.
Pendergast will have his safeties walk up into the box to bait Kizer into checking into a pass play which falls incomplete or is picked off when they drop back into coverage.
Kizer is sacked five times
Kizer throws three picks
One of our WR gets concussed by a helmet-to-helmet hit by SC safety but targeting is not called.
McGlinchey has three false starts
Zaire gets more playing time tomorrow than he's had in the last 11 games combined when he goes replaces an ineffective Kizer.
Darnold puts on a show that makes him a front-runner for 2017 Heisman & makes people wonder why the mock draft idiots ever had Kizer as a first rounder.
Darnold throws for four TDs and runs for two before Helton puts in the backup.
Ronald Jones III rushes for over 200 yards easily putting him over the 1000 yard mark for the year.
BK will call the jet sweep to Dexter Williams and it will net -5 yards in his only touch of the game.
ND will have seven 3 & outs
Kizer will keep on the read option when it's clear the better option was to handoff to RB
Folston will show bursts in the first quarter but leave us wondering why he never got the ball between the tackles the rest of the game.
Final Score: 52-7
All these teams suck. Don't give me that Washington BS. PacWho?
lol riiiiiiiiiight
Ok. You must think the Pac10 is a lot better than I.
USC might be better than ND today on the road, maybe, but they're not all that great. Especially up front. We'll see what happens today but 4 losses is just about the same as 6 in my book. Neither very good at all.
I can't help but think that you have not watched SC play live at all in the 2nd half of the season. They are playing about as well as any team in the country. There are no mights about it and it doesn't matter where the game is being played. SC will outclass us in all three aspects of the game today.
Fair enough. Time will tell. I just wish we had a "better" ND team going in this year. Regardless, don't think USC is all that great and very beatable...doesn't matter where the game is played, agreed. What does matter is that BS schedule you refer to. I'm not surprised USC won those games...Colorado being the best team listed, for Christ Sakes.
Is anyone betting on this game? I kinda like ND +17

Honestly think that is a steel, not a betting man however (not today anyways). ND hasn't lost by more than 8 this year if that helps.
To be fair, most of those teams were garbage and the only reason we lost to MSU by 8 or less is because they went vanilla the ENTIRE second half
