LA papers suggesting that with Darnold coming in to play QB, there may be a major overhaul with Adoree Jackson moving to Offense. I really don't want to see him up against BVG's crew. It will be interesting to see how they look against Utah and their 'blackout' game. I'm guessing Utah rolls, but USC has some big plays to get them something to build on.

Wouldn't be a good move for Jackson's NFL career.

If he wants to be a first round pick he needs to focus and improve his play at CB

Things could be a lot worse guys we could be like USC. Would you rather have 2 losses with a really young football team, or a team with a bunch of guys wanting to walk out?

I don't want the attitude their team has. However, if you look at which team has a better shot turning things around quickly its USV. Swann will dump Helton and bring in an elite coach. Much like Harbaugh at Michigan someone like Hermann will turn things around fast. Meanwhile ND will be stuck in mediocrity because we won't fire BK until he reaches dumpster fire level but we will also never be a truly elite program under this staff.

This is all fun and games until someone loses an eye...or the Trojans hire Herman.

USC fans seem to feel that the problems with their program go all the way up top and that the dysfunction goes way higher than the HC.

Being from the area, I'm sure Herman would know the reality well. Assuming that Les Miles gets fired this year as well, I wonder (hope???) if Herman wouldn't prefer the LSU job??

LSU could probably pay more money and you are the only power in the state. Plus LA is stocked full of lineman whereas Southern Cal kids seem to be more skill position primadonnas.

If I was to make Power rankings right now i'd probably put them 6 behind Bama, OSU, Michigan, Clemson, and Louisville, and I think the games would be extremely close between all but Bama. Not looking forward to our game with them.

One thing ND has on their side is they have not been blown out this year.

I think USC beats ND, but I thinks it's going to be a competitive game.

Because we haven't played a good team yet. Lol

It's college football, stranger things have happened. I could see ND winning by a field goal (which may put some of the fanbase into the "we're on the right path" category) but I could also see USC winning by 4 touchdowns.

There is a reason the games are played on the field and not on paper.

Honestly, I would no bs want Kelly fired immediately if we get jail-sexed.

That score would indicate that our defense somehow managed to give up more points to USC than Arizona State, Arizona, Oregon and Cal and our offense only managed to outscore one of those teams.

That should never be acceptable.

How on earth would losing to a supremely talented SC team be worse than losing to Duke, NCState, Navy, Texas, etc?

I watched them against Udub. They looked superior in talent and in execution. They controlled that game and never were threatened. It's a sample size of only one game, but they've won 5 or 6 in a row and looked easily like they should be a top 3 team.

Our lines will have to step up.

Let's hope the O-line is up to the task, cause God knows the D-line ain't gonna get it done against them

Get there early, cruise through some alumni club gatherings and someone will hook you up. I'm gonna hit up the ND Club of OC for mine. Big stadium x bad records = cheap & plentiful tickets.
