I know they're 0-2, but is Louisville real bad? Clemson so far looks quite a bit better than them. Clemson's D specifically looks good. Athletic.

Louisville is probably about as good or bad as Virginia. We were up 12-0 after 1 against UVA. Clemson isn't impressing me. Athletic, but sloppy.

QB for Clemson looking good this drive. Just tuned in. Taking a lot of heat though. It is in Louisville so I figured this would be a close one.

David Pollock is announcing (I think) and he has Clemson in the finals 4.

My only real concern after watching today's game is 1 - how do they play at home and 2 - keep their qb in the pocket.

This is their last game before ND, so Clemson is looking at a very BS Top-10 ranking for that game if they hold on. They don't look good at all.

Are you serious? They are going to have 16 days between games. This could be very good or very bad thing for Clemson.

You hope they come out rusty and notre dame can pounce on them fast.

I'll take the hype of a top ten matchup agaiat this Clemson team.

I have it on good authority that the GameDay guys like going to Clemson. It's a good campus from which to do the show.

What's so sad is that we had a manageable schedule this year. Tough, but manageable. Got GT and USC at home, and Clemson is shaky at a number of spots (but will still look like a good win). And if we got through all that, the back end wasn't bad at all.

We were primed for 11-1ish with 3-4 top 25 wins... and now we're down 4 starters by week 2. Just a shame.

If we count Crawford starting at nickel (which it really sounds that they were planning on making the base), then the count is up to 5. :(

Why are yoy speaking in the past tense? If I go game-by-game, I still see us with ten wins. Eight is possible, but so is twelve. I really don't see anything unwinnable even with the injuries.

Their defense is vicious and their skill positions are lighting quick. But their OL seems to suck. Watkins doesn't get much time and they dont like running up the middle

Remember how we all circled this season as THE YEAR because it looked like the first genuinely weak schedule ND had played since forever before the ACC deal went through, thus blowing up?

4 starters... yes. Major drop offs... not really. Gage isn't that much of a drop off from Jones. Prosise may not be a major drop off from Folston. Jones isn't that much of a drop off from Smyth. The only question mark (yes, a big one) is Zaire to Kizer. But we haven't really gotten to know how good MZ is. So we don't know how much the drop off is.

If the D can stay healthy, we're good.

I think you underestimate jones
or overestimate Cage

Jarron Jones and Folsom will hurt us more than Malik IMO. We have one really good back right now. We should have had 2 really good backs, and Jones was our best DL IMO.

Re: Clemson-Louisville, is there something weird about the presentation audio or is that the dullest stadium in America?

If the Louisville QB had any comfort whatsoever stepping up in the pocket instead of running away, they could be winning by a good amount.
