Even with an horrendous defense last season, SC was in most every game and blew several fourth quarter leads. They could have easily finished with 9 wins. If they can't beat UNC... who had an even worse defense, then maybe it's time for the OBC to hit the boat on the lake.

I would take the spread and give up the points to UNC. I think SC's defense will be much improved from a year ago. A lot of young players that now have a year of experience and the co-DC they brought in should make them better. UNC has to better on defense as well... simply by bringing the Cheez Chizik in as their DC.

You could be right. Maybe the ol ball coach gets them going this year.

I think UNC could make it interesting if Hood gets going early and that white dwight clone gets them some field position on special teams.

Agree. The talk in SEC land was highly critical of the Gamecock fans who were not showing up to support their school. Two state schools can't sell out opening night in CFB? Kinda sad.

There were $65 tickets for this game. Also this is North Carolina - South Carolina in Charlotte. Maybe you or I wouldn't pay $65 for that but Carolinians should.
