We are more likely in a Dec 29th bowl game than a major bowl given our track record but I believe Kelly has finally stocked the cupboard and *fixed* the damage done by previous regime's in regards to roster management. We have weapons at every position and we have depth.

This is the year that Kelly will feel his seat get hot if he's unable to achieve double digit wins. 10-2 keeps him safe, 11-1 buys an extension, CFB playoffs/championship game and we hopefully see a massive bump in pay to all coaches and facilities are upgraded again.... with whatever the staff wants. At least, that's my hope.

There will always be an excuse when we don't hit xx Ws. We just need to care for business. MZ is the wild card, but there is enough talent around him on O to keep us in a game even if he's not performing at a high level. IMO, aside from MZ, this team goes where the D takes us this year.

My hope is MZ gets it together by mid season and we only take one L in the process (either Clemson or GT). If that is the case and we run the table the second half, I'm comfortable in saying we'll be in the playoffs.

Other highly ranked teams have that issue (Baylor, Oregon, UCLA, LSU , Auburn's Qb has only 2 starts, Alabama Georgia).. With all these starters back this needs to be a successful year. We can find excuse every year.
