Just saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Terrific film. Not only was the cinematography excellent, but it had a great story and most excellent soundtrack.
A must see.
also saw wolf of wall street, very entertaining but I needed a shower after that one, I felt real dirty
Wolf of Wall Street was amazing at the end I got up and wondered if it was a good movie then an hour I realized it was one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Lone Survivor is phenomenal.
One of the greatest action scenes in a movie. I was literally cringing. As far as powerful, its every bit as powerful as the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan. Its a different kind of powerful, but my God.

We're the Millers was hilarious.
Just watched two Stanley Kubrick films, Eyes Wide Shut and Paths of Glory, both for the first time (well, I watched Eyes Wide Shut once at a friends house, in middle school, for the bewbs..).
Paths of Glory was tremendous, not sure I understand Eyes Wide Shut quite yet.
Eyes Wide Shut is a labor of love. You have to watch it a few times to even scratch the surface, and it's tedious because there are so many slow parts that don't add anything to the overall message.
I am pumped for this. From the preview it looks like quintessential Wes Anderson. Coming out in March:

I've got to find a way to get into Wes Anderson movies. I haven't enjoyed a minute of any of the two or three I've tried.
Have you seen Dr. Strangelove? It would be right up your alley.

Yeah swap that out for The Killing. It's a dark comedy though right? I had my doubts about older comedies.
