Non-ND games you're attending 2015

Anyone going to any good non-ND football games this season? I'll be at Boston College for the FSU game (a Friday night) and whatever Temple games I'm not able to unload my season tickets for. I haven't decided whether I'm going to boo or cheer Golson.

I can think of 93 reasons why a Notre Dame fan would not attend.

In Austin I see much less Tex Mex and more cilantro Pico etc that Y'all are talking about.

Plus, Wooly, do you really not like good bbq brisket?

What did I say that gave you that impression?

You said Texas bbq is your least favorite of the regional varieties. I can think of no other reason. It just means I gotta get you a good slab of sliced brisket when you make it down in 16

Interesting, the only spots I've been to in Austin are all tex mex... the only really authentic places I've found worth mentioning would be in San Antonio or El Paso

Interesting. But I'll admit I had better Mexican food in San Antonio. Corn smut tacos. Yum

Also, do you go with corn tortillas?

With that said, I like Austin and could live there, despite the lack of my food of choice... El Paso? Not so much

And yes, I roll with corn for anything but an occasional large burrito... Tacos, fajitas, whatever, almost always corn tortillas.

Fuck yeah man. Good beer (not as good as Cali though) and the best damn brisket you'll find. Even a good pastrami place in town too.

Brisket makes my point... We like what we know/grew up with often times...

I don't care for brisket, give me a nice tri tip sandwich over brisket every single time... But tri tip is like our thing

(And way better than your stupid brisket)... ;)

Them's fighting words!

Bring your tri tip in 16 and we'll match it up with our brisket.

I said no such thing. The only comment I made was that Memphis BBQ is the best. I didn't mean that as a reflection on Texas BBQ, just that Memphis is my jam. I dig all BBQ.

Plus... Cali BBQ is clearly the worst...;)

Yeah that's the only thing I'm bummed about. I'd love to see the Cliffs of Moher, but it will be hard and potentially too time-consuming to make that work.

I met a guy from Dublin recently, and he was telling me about a place comparable to the Cliffs that he actually prefers as a local. It might be somewhere in the north? I wish I could remember what he called it, but I was under the influence at the time.
take a bus tour out to the country side you will not regret it, I was in Dublin for 3 full days and two days we had everything done. The 3rd days we found a last min tour and it was the best part of the trip

My apologies. As compensation I'll get you a beer down here in 16.

It's crazy to me that you still think your area has the best food in the country. It simply isn't true.

Best Pizza - NY/Chicago
Best Italian - NY/Chicago
Best Steak Sammich - Great Central Steak and Hoagie Hut; Camarillo, CA
Best Greek - Chicago
Best Ribs - Memphis or somewhere else in the south
Best Seafood - The Southeast US
Best Hot Dog - Chicago
Best Chili - Texas
Best Mexican - Tejas, New Mexico and Colorado all give Cali a run for their money.

Just because you guys have cornered the market on hummus and couscous, doesn't mean that you have the best food. Plus Cali has the worst government, worst people and worst sense of superiority. I love your weather and scenery, but you don't have that market cornered there either.

Will hit the Bama games against Ole Miss, LSU, Arky, Tenn, and the Iron Bowl of course. Still debating the drive to Big D for the opener against Whisky - I hate that neutral site BS anyway. Plenty of good HS football on Friday nights in Bama as well and try to hit the higher profile games involving Prattville and/or Hoover.

Keep that sh** up and I will find someone else to go with me to the Iron Bowl buddy.

Hi Tommy, ol' buddy. Ol' pal.

Just wanted to say hi to to my good friend.

No reason... Just positives vibes being sent to you from ol' Wooly...

So... I can go in Acamp's place, right?

What's up bud? Good to hear from you again.

And yes... you can go with me this year. ACamp stiffed me on drinks at last year's game even though I got him in to meet Lil Nicky.

Stanford @ SC on Sept. 19th after the Tech game.

Cal @ UCLA on the Thurs after SC in South Bend if I get back in time

Washington @ ASU on Nov 14th after the Wake game.

Maybe SC @ ASU after the UMass game if I have to.

Night games out west come in handy when your team plays early.

Trying to make Texas work at home to go with SC for sure and Stanford in Palo Alto. Topped off with some undetermined team against the Irish in Glendale on Jan 11th.

....and Memphis Pork BBQ is the best...well anything on the planet. Wooly with the winner again. Wait, maybe San Diego beer is better but that's it.

dude if you really wanted to see the Cliffs you can get on a bus tour. they generally leave Dublin city centre at 6am or so and then they get back in the evening. My wife's cousins came over from San Diego and they did that. It'd be a tiring day but if you really want to see the Cliffs of Moher then its an option.
