Going to see the Stones at the Speedway on the 4th! Super pumped! Anyone else going?

Feel free to share whatever your 4th of July plans are!

I know it's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it!

I know I'm in the minority, but the Stones never did it for me. I like a lot of their music, but not enough to go see them back in the 60's or today. Heard the put on a good show, enjoy.

Love the Stones... almost went to see them in San Diego last month, but I just couldn't justify paying that much money to see anyone play... just me.

No, not just you. I reached that conclusion two decade ago.

I will be there. Last time I saw them was 89
I saw them in the Silverdome in 81 also. They are the two best shows I have seen. The 81 show had Santana leading off. It should be great weather and a great time with fireworks to boot.

Flying in tomorrow for it. Got VIP section for a client. Only thing that sucks, is that I'm likely DDing. Saw them last month at Bobby Dodd. Fantastic show. Full of energy and sounded great. Jagger was running around everywhere. Hasn't skipped a beat. Even Richards sprinted down the long cat walk.

Beau - We are tailgating in the midfield parking area. Not sure of logistics, but PM me if you want to come by for a beer. Waiting on client to confirm departure time.

Wow you saw them at age 81 and age 89? They gotta be upper 90's now, right?

Have seen them 3 times....outdoors at old Cleveland Stadium in 1975 ($15), and twice in Chicago (Rosemont Horizon) in 1982 back to back nights(free both nights, first night escorted my housemates girlfriend while he stayed behind and banged his ex, second night right place right time extra ticket beneficiary).
They do (did) put on a good show, but I passed on them last month in Dallas....pretty old and very expensive.

Wasn't that a hoot! Long live the World Series of Rock!

My concert days are over by choice and necessity, except I am taking my young kids to see some Internet sensation in August . . .

That would be MonkEEs ...

dammit!

That's right Sir D, separate the wheat from the chaff!

And I loved the Banana Splits! Went over to the "neighborhood" house where two of my buds lived. Spent my time watching the show and not popping a rod over their older sister, who enjoyed the attention and always put on a show! Ah, those were the days! Remember 'em like yesterday. (what is approximately 45 years among friends?)

HAPPY FOURTH EVERYONE!

I thought the Banana Splits were the bomb when I was a kid! I still remember one of them pulling a rope and when one of the others asked him why, he said, "Because it's easier than pushing it." That was hilarious to a 10-year-old.

Saw the Stones in '89 at Legion Field in B'ham. Heck of a good show. Enjoy 'em in Indy tonight for all of you who'll be there.

The Septuagenarian Tour only Ronnie Woods, 66, is under 70.

The vendors have an ample supply of T-Shirts, Boost, Dependz, and Little Blue Pills.

With dozens of defibrillators strategically placed around the venue.

The show was phenomenal. Pretty sure I was the only person in a crowd of 50,000+ who had 5 square feet to myself... Probably because I was singing and dancing my ass off.
