Ok, now THAT may be the biggest win in ND history...that's up there with 78 DePaul...
... Love watching these guys play its time for march madness
ND walked into Greensboro and just beat Duke and unc....
That is fucking impressive.
It's crazy. Bought so many shots. People don;t realize how big this is.

Yeah this is awesome! Still hoping for a nice tourney run, but no matter what this was an amazing year! Congrats fellas, just phenomenal!
Had a group of 6-7. I bought 20 shots. Had to do too many. Still was a great night.
ND just fucked up Tabocca Road.
ACC Champs baby! I didn't want the coverage to end...I could have watched every second of post game. Hope we get a 2. The committee has never really done us any favors and everyone seems to think Kansas is a lock but they have 3 more losses than us and got worked by temple. Not to mention we have 2 wins (Duke) better than any win on their résumé.
GO IRISH!
The problem with seeding for ND is that a lot of the criteria the committee uses is archaic. Really, really archaic. As such, the "badness" of the bad teams on your OOC schedule has WAY too much of an impact on your SOS, RPI, and lots of other criteria. And then there are other criteria, like looking at quality wins, that piggy back off the RPI. I can't see us getting better than a 3.
The difference between playing a bunch of minor conference teams that went 13-17 versus 7-23 is truly huge. And makes no sense at all in the grand scheme of things. You could have a team that beat Duke and stomped nine "7-23" style teams and it could hypothetically have a worse RPI than a team that lost by 40 to Duke and barely beat nine "13-17" style teams. Basically, ND got screwed by the "bad" teams ND scheduled being reallllllllllly bad.
This thread went silent for 25 minutes oh ye of little faith!
I'll remember that 22-2 run for the rest of my life. I think I may have become an Irish basketball fan for the fist time since the very early 80's.
