If Jaylon has another AA season hes going to have to consider his NFL options, at least in my opinion.

I would have to agree with you. At least he will ask for a grade.
Expand please?
To me, they are all hard hitting safeties that project better as run stoppers than in coverage (although Smith proved to be good in coverage as well). On each level, I use the "poor man" analogy as each guy is less in talent and/or size.
and they're all honkies
I'm not, just because we need bodies, doesn't mean that we need to go that low.
No offense to the kid, but he is a poor man's version of Nicco, who is a poor man's version of Barratti, who is a poor man's version of Motta, who is a poor man's version of Harrison Smith.
We need more Harrison Smiths....

Comparing Nicco and Justin makes sense. They are of comparable size and skill set. Comparing Baratti and Harrison Smith makes sense for the same reason. (Except that we haven't seen much of Baratti playing safety even in high school.) Comparing Nicco to Motta just doesn't make a lot of sense.
Besides the obvious build differences, I think you are oversimplifying the skillsets of each player. Nicco and Justin would likely be asked to do different jobs than any of those guys had been asked to do. Being a hard hitter isn't the only thing that should classify any of those guys and you even admit in your post that Harrison was good in coverage, not just a hard hitter.
I got the point you were trying to make with your post, but I think in trying to make your point of stating that "Player A is a lesser talent compared to Player B" you started comparing apples to oranges. I'd say Elijah Shumate and Nicco Fertitta share more in common skill and build-wise than Nicco and Zeke. Nicco and Zeke just both happen to be "honkies".
Ever notice that ND head coaches turn into Oprah in January?
You get an offer

ACCORDING to his coach, this is what he has been pegged for and has been told by coaches he will start out as
I didn't compare Nicco to Motta, I compared him to Baratti. They all slightly get closer to Smith, dropping something along the way.
I wasn't trying to make some succinct dissection of each of their particular skillsets. I was making a broad observation with a main objective of Justin just not being a talented enough player for what we need. You're looking way too much into my comment.
I didn't compare Nicco to Zeke. I compared Motta to Baratti/Smith.
Again... it's just a comment. I wasn't trying to make some groundbreaking statement.
Like I said, I got your point. I'm not sure how you can say you weren't comparing Nicco to one of the other guys, when you were using the transitive property to form your comment.
My biggest problem was simply that you know that Nicco is likely going to be a nickel player and less of a full time safety. So again, apples to oranges.
Wasn't planning on this turning into a conversation, I was just making an observation on your comment.

Loy has got us down for three more.
I think most CAN assume ESB and Williams, but I wonder which safety Loy is thinking.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>If <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NotreDame?src=hash">#NotreDame</a> lands the 3 I think it does, the Irish should finish with a Top 10 class. <a href="https://twitter.com/247Sports">@247Sports</a> Class Calculator <a href="http://t.co/IEaUIoMND7">http://t.co/IEaUIoMND7</a></p>— Tom Loy (@TomLoy247) <a href="https://twitter.com/TomLoy247/status/556902401861746688">January 18, 2015</a></blockquote>

Just saw two CB's for Reid to Stanford. Does this maybe help with Buncom or has that ship sailed? I know things lookin up with Williams and ESB, but then we are looking at Meadors, Ferrar, and who for the final S spot? If this is the case with the two skill guys and add any of the aforementioned S's to the mix, this is going to end up being a great class!
I think the big move is Tillery to DL as we need as much depth as possible there. Then the LB is ridiculous! Add the best TE in the nation to this stellar receiver corp and boom, things are looking great! Just land these three final spots and this class exceeds expectations considering the rough finish at the end of the regular season.
No Buncom is going to Stanford
Man they getting all da safeties. Good thing we beat them this year, who knows what else they would have gotten otherwise?
I don't think one win decides a kids future.
