This is definitely turned out to be one of those years where whenever a commits profile receives an update your heart skips a beat worrying what it could be.

Not for me. We've only lost one key guy, Blake Barnett, and replaced him with an arguably better prospect.

For how we have finished the season, there has been (surprisingly) no talk of flipping from our commits (except Coney potentially going on a Miami visit)...which I love.

Notre Dame should use him next year like USC uses Adoree Jackson...give him a few offensive plays.

He's just too good.

WR, CB.... Dude can just flat out ball. Im convinced that he will be an elite player on whichever side of the ball the coaches put him on.

I like him at Corner more than Wideout. He'll be a beast at both but the premium on shutdown corners are high due to BVG's system. Him, Watkins, and (if he plays with) Luke will be great in the future. I think Sanders can do what he does effectively at WR

Definitely. He might be a 5 star CB if he had the prototypical size. Everyone worries about small corners going up against large WR's, but you don't always have to put the best CB against the best WR if there's a height mismatch. Just look at the Patriots, Revis is the best CB in the NFL but they'll put Brandon Browner on the #1 WR if they're ~6'2". Very few teams have multiple big bodied WR's on the field at the same time.

Also love that he's not afraid to hit people either.

Sooooo much smaller than Campbell, great closing speed though. Heck of a nickel prospect.

I saw him live. This dude is the truth. He'll be better than a nickel player because (IMO) his football IQ matches his athletic ability. He's just an instinctive player.

Also with the Harboner news, this bump scared the bejesus out of me.

Just because you're small doesn't relegate you automatically to nickel corner, but I wouldn't line him up against WR's that are >6'. The Jets did that when they had Revis and Antonio Cromartie, where they would line up Cromartie on especially tall wideouts even though he was the #2 corner.

ND can't afford to lose Crawford...could be a battle until the end and ND is going to have to be ready to recruit with Harbaugh at UM.

staff is going to get a lot of chances down the stretch to earn their money in recruiting.

i like the hire for ann arbor simply due to the fact that we'll find out how good this staff really is at recruiting with urban in cbus having a great year and harbaugh taking over in ann arbor.

they've done well in years passed just hope that they'll be able to hold up.

Sadly, with the constant overhang of Kelly to the NFL, we will fail to close strong in my opinion. The Harbaugh hiring is a massive, massive, massive blow to ND this year, especially with how depleted we've become due to injuries. We need every one of our recruits this year and we'll likely lose a few. All of this could not have come at a worse time.

Not a shock at all. I will be pleasantly surprised if we don't get any recruits poached by Jim.

Can college programs hire recruiters only? If so ND needs to step up and hire recruiters (and pay the assistants & recruiters well).

Not sure how effective this would be. I feel like a lot of the connection between recruit and coach is because the player trusts someone who is around the game so much. I think if you get non-football guys to recruit players, there won't be as strong a bond.
