Won tonight. Moving on to the state finals against Carmel. I think they have a real good chance to win even though they'll be underdogs. Carmel is a bit soft.
Didn't Carmel kick their ass once already this year?

LMAO
For the record...it is C-are-mel.

Actually it's CAR-muhl, car-MEL is out here in Cali.
Yes, beat them by 3 TD's. Expect more of the same next week at Lucas Oil. The real Championship game was tonight when Carmel beat Penn 14-13.
.
LMAO...there are at least five Indy teams that would smack Penn (BD being one of them). They make a living beating up on the northern nobodies then losing once they finally play somebody in the playoffs, every year.
"There are at least 5 Indy teams that would smack Penn", yet the team that smacked the teams you speak of only beat them by 1.
Has Penn beat up on northern Indiana only to lose in the playoffs over the past 15 years? Yes. But don't get carried away, a one point loss last night to the team that has punked the MIC this year proves they are a quality team and your response was out of line.
.
Uh, no...Carmel has won seven games this year by seven points or less...hardly "punking" people. That undefeated record is a little deceiving...they could easily have one, two or three losses. Fishers almost beat them in Sectionals, and I think BD has a good chance of getting them at Lucas Oil in the rematch.
Although undefeated, playing cupcakes as always, it's a joke Penn ever gets ranked above Warren, Ben Davis, Center Grove, and Carmel until they actually start playing somebody. Cathedral (a class down) and Southport would beat Penn too.
1. You don't like my use of punked but your use of smacked is appropriate??? I purposely misused it to answer your misuse.
2. Carmel went through the MIC undefeated. Give it up to them. Are you the guy that would say Bama is overrated because they went through the SEC undefeated winning many games by only a TD? The MIC might be the best conference in the midwest, to go through it undefeated is quite an accomplishment.
3. Penn gave Carmel the best game of the year. No one else got within a FG of them. That justifies ANY ranking they received. Don't measure them on your 'Well, What If' meter. They did something no other MIC team did this year and they deserved a #2 ranking going into that game... and they earned it.
4. Ben Davis may win the championship game but as you know the last time they played, that soft Carmel squad doubled them up 34-17 at home so BD wasn't one of those 7 teams that lost by 7.
I look forward to watching that game, I can tell you that. Good luck Asmar!

I just open this and saw point 1...ha, ha...here we go..I don't give two sh!ts about the word you/we used. I know if you're still debating Penn as a legit 6A school shows ignorance.
Now I'll proceed to read on...
You are right. We shouldn't be debating because the facts tell the entire story.
Penn played Carmel better than any other team this year in a 14-13 loss. FACT.
Carmel went undefeated in the MIC where many of the best 6A schools are. FACT.
Carmel beat every other 6A team in the state by a TD. FACT.
Penn backed up a #2 rating this year by their on field performance. FACT
By you writing on a public forum that Carmel is soft and Penn is not a legitimate 6A program a sane person can only deduce that:
If you are correct, the entire state of Indiana is filled with soft 6A football programs
or
You are the one who is ignorant.
..
Carmel is undefeated, but soft, like I said....they might get beat next week. Penn gave Carmel a good game last week, congrats. If they played an Indy schedule they'd have 4 losses.
I didn't realize that Indy was the new SEC.
Penn, needs to come on down and play somebody...
Until then, enjoy being a big fish in a small pond...with no championships.

State Titles: 2000, 1997, 1996, 1995
State Runner-up: 2011, 2003, 1999, 1991, 1989
That is finishing as one of the top two schools in the state 9 of that past 23 years.
Yeah, they are a big fish in a small pond but you can't help where you are located geographically. The fact is, to get the the state championship you have to play some of the top schools in the state and they have done it almost 40% of the the time the last quarter of a century.
I think someone needs to get over their bias and realize that Penn is legit.
The fact is to get to the state finals out of the north bracket Penn has to beat Carmel as all of the other Indy 6A schools play in the south bracket. That is the fact. Penn doesn't play a good school every year until the get to Semi State...and then they lose.
Fishers, HSE and Noblesville aren't Indy 6A schools now?
Ok... I give.

Last I saw on Twitter they were down 17-0 in the first quarter, pretty impressive comeback.
